Stalker tale
Madeline has a stalker who is part of the reason she moves. When she visits Black Light she meets Joseph and Nathaniel and there is an immediate strong attraction. Their scene is hot and they decide to get together again. Things get ramped up when the two FBI agents are assigned to her stalker case. This is unlike other black light books I've read. They meet there and have a date there but most of the story happens outside of black light. Hot scenes, true love and creepy danger.

Yes, it is a stalker story.
I thought the character development was excellent, The plot took a bit to get going, but when it did, strap yourself in for the ride. Very enjoyable. Looking forward to reading more from this author

3 are better than 2...
I enjoyed this book.I like triads anyway ,but this one had a good plot, engaging characters, interesting kinks and ,of course a satisfying HEA.I liked how the 2 Dom's were polar opposites from each other making their relationship complementary and complete, being exactly what the sub needed. This fit into the Black Light series well. This triad was actually briefly in another Black Light book " Branded".I like when other characters are included in other books in the same series.Good story.I recommend it .

On the edge of my seat!!
Loved this, one the connection that Madeline, Joseph, and Nathaniel feel to each other is instant. The writing makes these feelings come through very easily. I loved the chemistry, suspense and danger this book made me feel. While I’m not truly convinced that DID is real, it made the story more intriguing. My only criticism is that very little of the book had anything to do with the club. I would have liked to see more scenes happen there, or at least some conversations between Madeline and Garreth to pull in the Black Light aspect. Regardless of that, I loved the book!!

Have a lot of grains of salt ready
No M/M. The FBI Agents live together, in their own rooms, with a third just ready to go. The Main Female needs protection, is being stalked, but is allowed to drop by a bakery and visit her friend. But the most infuriating: the villain has Dissociative Identity Disorder and one of his Alters actually refers to himself as an "Alter". Have you ever tried to convince an insane person that they're insane? They don't believe you. How exactly does this mentally disordered, untreated, serial killer have the mental capacity to recognize his own disorder but not that he is killing women?!On the plus side, the main characters are closer to my age. These are not childish twenty-somethings experimenting with BDSM. They know what they like and how to do it. There is no shy-woman-learning-how-to-be-a-sub nonsense. These are grown adults in their late 30s judging by her comment that she's been a professional for 15 years and one of the men saying he was closer to 40 than 30. So big thumbs up for that!

Disappointing
I’ve read and loved every Black Light book published. I’ve also read many of this author’s other books which have been outstanding. Which is why I’m so very disappointed by this book. The entire concept on which this story is based is completely unbelievable. I’m very well aware of the concept of suspension of disbelief. But there’s no way this story works as written. FBI agents not just romantically involved with the victim of the crime they’re investigating but actually living together immediately after a one chance meeting and encounter at a BDSM club? No matter how much I tried to overlook all of this and tell myself it’s just fiction, I can’t. No law enforcement officer at any level would be allowed to work a case where they have a personal interest in the outcome. At the least, the law enforcement agents would be removed from the case. Yet not only do the law enforcement officers remain on the case, the foundation of the whole story is predicated on that completely unbelievable situation. I was also bothered by the “insta-love” and trust to form the BDSM relationship after one encounter. The characters could also have been better developed. Suspension of disbelief is one thing. But it’s the complete unbelievability of the facts upon which the plot is based that ruined this story for me.

Madeline, Joseph and Nathaniel's Possession
Another great addition to the Black Light series. This story is of Madeline, a beautiful, intellegent psychologist beingstalked by a killer. Joseph and Nathaniel are FBI agents and bestfriends and Doms. From the very first time they met, all three areattracted to each other and made for some very sexy, hot, BDSMscenes. The triad got to Black Light and Runway, the entertainingClub upstairs from the Black Light dungeon together. There isquite a bit of fear and angst with the killer gaining on his target andMadeline's doms doing everything they can to heep Madeline safe.L.K. Shaw did a great job of telling her story and her's fits right intothe Black Light theme of all the other stories written by a variety ofauthors.A new Black Light anthology is expected to be publish at the beginningof February and I can't wait to read it!

Just not feeling it.
Ever since this book came out it's been on my 'to buy' list, so when I discovered this sale I jumped at it. Don't get me wrong it has all the necessary ingredients- suspenseful plot, sexy strong characters, and strong emotions, but it just was a little too insta-lust/love, with a little unbelievable 'WTH?' thrown in. Madeline is a psychologist who deals with people's severe problems but she won't let the FBI over-protect her with a serial killer stalking her? If anybody would know the risks it should be her. And her two FBI Dom's let her walk around with minimal protection instead of being glued to side day and night? Really? Really?! Too many TSTL moments for me. Sorry. Glad I waited for the sale.

oooooh baby!!
One of my faves so far in the black light series, with some seriously hawwwwwt bdsm. The story is vivid and all encompassing, leaving you wondering how you survived this long without it.There’s a great mix of erotica and suspense, and is extremely well written and not stuffed full of stereotypical fillers. It leaves you guessing right up until the last minute, full of steamy hot scenes, edge of your seat thrills that leave you desperate to read on.This isn’t flowery bdsm either, the characters are mature and experienced enough and the actual bdsm scenes are very well written, like lots of good research was done!!I’d definitely recommend this book, it’s a 5⭐️ from me!

I don’t usually like first person but I have to say I hardly noticed this one. I was so engrossed in the actual story that I didn’t realise half the time it was first person. A very good read I loved it.
