Perfect on my Sondors
I've waited over a year before reviewing this. it was a year+ ago that I came across this mount. I had many plastic ones in the past, all broken. I've used those rubber ones, they flop. I almost went with an aluminum holder, but the way it sticks UP, i didn't want that. I read reviews long ago, and some were claiming it wobbled, it was cheap, it broke etc etc. which really made me not consider it. But i decided to go for it. I mounted it to my handlebars. the design is perfect if you have a sondors fat bike. it fits perfect over the throttle lights! Its also nice to not have my phone in a jersey pocket. I also 3d printed a mount for the wall at work, so i can lock it in place, while at work. the only problem i've had was the screw in the middle coming loose. I've had to tighten it 3 times during my purchase. But, part of that is my laziness, as I keep forgetting to put locktite on the threads (dont get locktite on plastic!!). the phone will not wobble if you keep the screw tight. you can tell when it is loose, cause your phone will wobble and sometimes will mislock on the mount. i did put the mount on my otterbox, and it hasn't come undone. I did clean it good prior, put it on, then used a clamp on it overnight. **Update** still love it, but saddened to find out you can't get the phone mount anymore.. I have 2 phones now, would love to order another mount for the phone, but no longer available and the company pretty much said the same. good luck finding one. buying another handlebar kit seems like a waste of money.

Bought multiple, never had one last more than a few months
It's the plastic tabs man, they break at the slightest impact to the handlebars if your phone weighs more than a pebble, which it will if you have a durable case, which you should if you're taking it cycling regularly. I'm genuinely convinced you could load a phablet with an otterbox on it into this thing and push the bike over from a standing position with slight force and you'll likely break at least one of the four plastic tabs that secure the phone to the mount, not only does this allow your phone to fall of the mount completely at big bumps (such as mounting a curb), the phone will also rattle around and constantly change viewing angle the whole time because the interlink has less points of contact, couldn't tell you where you should spend your money but it shouldn't be here.| No shade on other spigen brand accessories, their cases have been a consistently good value competitor to other ruggedized cases IME, and the adhesive holding the mounting plate to my phone case never even came close to coming loose once, but overall this specific product is a waste of $20 or whatever amount they charge for it now; really sad cause literally every problem with this product could be easily solved if they just made the top black plus-shaped plate on the male side of the mount out of aluminum or e-glass. Oh well, guess I'll buy a quad lock this time.

Best Phone Mount Ever!
I ride 170-240 miles in a typical week, working from my phone as I ride. Needless to say, the phone mount is of paramount importance. I've tried a bunch of different phone holders over the years. Either they break, wiggle loose, or make it too hard to extract the phone. I've even made my own phone mount, out of desparation because the other products just didn't work for me. However, I'm so glad I discovered Gearlock's mount. This phone mount works flawlessly! The phone easily clicks in and out, and is held perfectly stable. Due to my phone case being incompatible with the adhesive on the universal mount adaptor, I drilled four small holes through the case and the adaptor and tied them together with fishing line (shown in the photo). Also, my Garmin nests nicely beneath it. Works great!

Updated Review -- DON'T USE THREADLOCKER!
UPDATE (10/23/2022): I previously reported that I was disappointed with the Spigen out front bike phone mount because it failed after less than one week. Specifically, the plastic around the mounting screw cracked as I was re-attaching the phone mount to the handlebars of my mountain bike (see attached photos). I had previously attached the phone mount to my handlebars (for the first time) with no problem. When I initially attached the phone mount to my bike, I used a low-strength threadlocker because I was concerned vibration from trail riding might cause the mounting screw to become loose. I used a low-strength threadlocker for the initial install because that was all I had on hand. Five days later, I purchased some blue, semi-permanent threadlocker. It was after I removed the phone mount and applied the blue, semi-permanent threadlocker that the plastic around the mounting screw cracked while I was reinstalling the phone mount. I have since done some research and learned that threadlocker products, like Loctite, that contain methacrylic ester and cumene hydroperoxide do not play nice with plastic. I read numerous reports that threadlocker eats into the plastic, making it brittle. In fact, the Technical Data Sheet for Loctite Blue 242 Threadlocker expressly states: "Not for use on plastic parts, particularly thermoplastic materials where stress cracking of the plastic could result." I now believe it was the low-strength threadlocker that I applied to the mounting screw when I first installed the Spigen phone mount that caused the arm to crack while I was reinstalling the phone mount five days later. When I first installed the phone mount, there was some excess threadlocker pooled around the head of the mounting screw. I attempted to wipe the excess threadlocker off, but wasn't able to get all of it off because the mounting screw is recessed in the plastic. Significantly, it was the plastic around the head of the mounting screw -- exactly where the excess threadlocker had pooled -- that cracked while I was reinstalling the phone mount (see attached photos). I don't think that was a coincidence. I think the threadlocker that pooled around the head of the mounting screw during my initial installation made the plastic in that area weak and brittle, resulting in the stress cracking that occurred when I reinstalled the phone mount five days later. Within 24 hours of my contacting Spigen's customer service, Spigen agreed to send me a replacement phone mount at no cost, so I give Spigen's customer service a 5-star review. I received the replacement phone mount five days later, which I have installed without using threadlocker. I am upgrading my rating of the Spigen out front bike phone mount to 4 stars. Once installed, it is rock solid. My phone doesn't budge when riding, although I have only used the phone mount on paved roads and greenways at this point. My only concern is it's durability over the long haul. I am withholding the fifth star until I've used it longer.

Fantastic little mount – installation is a breeze, it sits in just the right position for easy viewing, and the lock/release mechanism for phones is super convenient to use (even one-handed). Would totally recommend this.

I'm back with a edit...... It's not perfect you'll need to make it perfect. The strap that comes with it isint worth your time and completely see where people's issues with it are coming in.. Buy a hose clamp and a piece of shrink tube, put the shrink tube ovef the hose clamp and use the hose clamp to strap the lock on. Toss the one that's with it in the trash it's weak it strips and it wasn't designed right. It don't close small enough.. Just get the hoseclamp whole you wait for delivery.. It's still the best phone holder on the market even with the janky strap. It's perfect. You just have to adapt. I'll start with the CON... The strap would not go tight enough on its own. Handlebar was not big enough around I just took some Gorilla Tape and wrapped around my handlebar and thickened it up until it was enough for the strap to go tight other than that one issue which very likely won't be an issue on a lot of new bikes isn't enough to take a stir away This thing locks your phone on there even better than the advertisement, it out performs everything I have tried before it and likely gone through a dozen.. I will some how build something on my boat to attach one to. Your phone is NOT coming out of this holder without two hands And the want for it to. Honestly I can't believe it was only 30 bucks. Texting is as easy as sitting on the couch bombing down the path lol. Editors note DON'T TEXT N DRIVE! 1)It's a one hitter quitter do not think you'll place the sticky and then move it. Line up test line up test line up test (in that order) then stick its sticky AF 2) PUSH UP ON THE RONDED PART (on the bike side of the holder) THEN TURN PHONE (either way) TO Release. 3) do not over tighten the plastic bolt used to hold the band it seems like it will strip. Although mine did not. Can't take you a pic on there cause it's holding my phone right now.

This accessory effectively holds the mobile on the bike, but it's incredibly difficult to remove the mobile from it. Considering its drawbacks, it's not worth purchasing. Quad Lock is a better option.
