Yep…good to have several of these. Some get lost and some get accidentally dropped into the fermentation chamber with the wort. The middle raised area, used for reducing surface contact to give better reliable stir, works great. 16hrs on the stir plate, yeast starter was ready to go. Fermentation was noticeably apparent within 4hrs of pitching the yeast. Highly recommend for your starter yeast.

Great for Lab Stirring
Ordered these for my lab to stir wastewater samples and they work as good as expected

These work
I use these for stirring liquid mycelium and herbal extracts in ethanol. They are heat resistant in a pressure cooker at 15 PSI. No problems after a few uses.

Worked perfectly for smaller vessels
Perfect for liquid culture in pint size wide mouth jars. Small and well balanced, they spin freely and evenly. Handled 30 mins in the autoclave without issue.
