It hasn't been changed. The product sells generally for £6-8 a tube locally so it's a good deal for a pack of 3 and a bad deal for one tube. If I reorder will I get one tube or 3? Its anybody guess. I'm not sure if it would answer your needs, but here it is. Measure your canvas height and width then multiply them by each other to get the square inches. Multiply the square inches by 0.1 to get the ounces needed to cover your canvas. To convert to grams, multiply the ounces by 28. This is only a rough guide as the paint consistency will affect coverage, i.e., the thinner the paint, the fewer ounces needed. **Q: What is the effective difference between normal matte medium and the matte fluid medium?** A: The normal matte medium will only produce a matte effect on the paint. The matte fluid medium will give the same matte effect, but will also lessen the viscosity of the acrylic paint you’re mixing in making it thinner and slightly more transparent (depending on the amount of medium added). **Q: can it withstand high heat ?** A: Yes it will but I wouldn't put it outside in the direct sun. It moves very well with added textures like small sand and stones for detailed terrain effects. This translates very well to the painting stages as well, giving depth and textures for shading and highlighting. All and all, you can use varied tools to apply, and I myself use a small makeup spatula to apply and randomly place and cover. Drying is a bit of a wait, but well worth the effects generated. I usually just leave them out overnight to dry. If it is warm and dry outside, you can also speed the process up by leaving them out there to quicken the step. Attached is an example of the basing I was able to make with it, in addition to corkboard. The first picture is the bare cork and liquitex with rocks and sand mixed in. The second is it dry with a basecoat, and the third is the final painted product.
