Cheap looking plank of wood

Just a plank of wood from any hardware shop with uneven bits cut out of it. Not stained or sanded, sharp edges. Looks cheap. Smells damp. Packaged to return but would cost £10.40 so not bothering. Prob end up on my wood burner.
