Works well with Code Composer Studio and MSP430.
I bought this as a cheaper alternative to the official Texas Instruments MSP-FET. I used this to program a solar charge controller (Texas Instruments reference design TIDA-010042) that uses a MSP430F5132. The programmer connected though USB to my computer without any issues and I didn't need to download any drivers for it. I used the SBW (2 wire JTAG) connection with my board, and only used the TDO, TCK, GND, and VCC pins. The CD that came with it was useless, a bunch of random stuff in Chinese. All you need to do is download Code Composer Studio from the Texas Instruments website and it works with that.

Works the same as the TI MSP-FET430UIF. comes with a cd that has specsheets, example code, and apps. It has a BSL app from Kurt in Russia that is excellent.
