Perfect replacement for my Stoves grill element
This part was a like for like replacement for my original Stoves grill element. I fitted the new element and the job's a good un!NB. I have a go at anything, but you should consider getting a professional in.The photo shows the old element still connected before I removed it. An easy way to ensure that you wire up the new element correctly. The wires have spade connectors that fit directly over the flat connectors at the back of the element. It's cramped, and it's fiddly ti do. Before you start, don't make my mistake. While I was unplugging one of the wires on the old element, it disappeared down the back of the oven! It wasn't secured whatsoever (thanks Stoves). So my advice is to secure the loose wires with duct tape to the inside of the oven temporarily as you go. I was actually doing this but the wire got away from me.If you can avoid these problems it should be straight forward. Good luck!
