Doesn’t mention if you are using EATX you loose 6 HDD bays and the 5.25 bay
I love the way this case is designed. Seems to be well put together. But the reason I am giving it 1 star is because no where in any of the documentation does it mention that if you are using a EATX mother board you will no be able to use 6 of the HDD bays and the 5.25 bay. Even if you look at the product flyer it shows a highlighted area for the motherboards in red. It even specifies this area includes EATX for the area highlighted and it makes it appear it will allow the use of these bays with that style board installed, but when I tried to install the motherboard I found I would need to remove these bays to install the board, with no way to reinstall the bays. I would have loved this case, it appeared to be exactly what I needed but the lack of instructions or product details are what killed this product for me. I am a person to try and make sure everything would work well before I purchase because I HATE returning things, and this products description set me up for failure. The least they can do is fix the highlighted area in their flyer or add an asterisk next to the EATX or bay quantities and add a note with this little detail. Having the 8 bays was the selling point for me so with 6 gone I could go back to a $60 case that can hold only 2 drives.

Cheap power panel and even worse quality control
I bought this case to use for a home server as it has plenty of space for hard drives. I did notice right away the power panel seemed cheap but it seemed to work fine. However over time the power button seemed to be having issues and later failed to operate at all. Thankful the case has a 2 year warranty and I contacted them for a replacement. They sent over a new power panel with no instructions on how to uninstall and reinstall the panel. I managed to figure it out but after getting it installed I found pins missing for the fan controller. Now I am back to waiting for another new panel. If you want a quality pc case I would recommend finding something else. Antec's quality control seems to be completely lacking and in the event you get a case and need a replacement part you cant even rely on them to send you a part that functions.

Poor fabrication quality. HDD caddies plastic. Metal warped. HORRIBLE Customer Support.
Purchased this after having bought *many* Antec products over the years: Antec Sonatas I/II/III; P193; P182; etc. I have had the following problems with this model: 1. The hard drive caddies are nothing like the Antec P193 of Sonatas. They are cheap plastic and do not mate to the frame in a square fashion. They're noisy and need extra neoprene inserts to prevent vibration. 2. The 5.25" caddy is poor quality and does not mate to the front face square, so only one of the mounting screws can be engaged while it is held in place. 3. The rolled steel sides are out of alignment. I had to roll them back in the machine shoppe at work. 4. In late October my POWER SWITCH BROKE! I'm not joking - the power switch snapped. I contacted Antec support on October 26th. I have not heard back from them. By the way - if you are from Antec, I have a support ticket for this, and it's 116XXX.

Great dust filtering included, quiet, used it for a media server build
The stand-out thing on this model is the dust filtering. I've bought several other brands, some of which force you to pay extra to buy an accessory dust filter kit, none of which are as fine in terms of particle filtering or fit as well or clean as easily as the front filter on this unit. The front dust filter is just about the finest without being incredibly restrictive of air-flow that one can get and in my dusty home that's pretty useful. It also simply slides out and can be rinsed or wiped down. The sound dampening is also pretty good, the isolation of hard drive noises from multiple spinning disk magnetic drives, including enterprise drives is also quite good, probably not as good as be-quiet with their specialized isolation caddies but it's a lot cheaper. The hard drive caddies themselves are plastic, not too impressively built, kind of cheap but they work, don't transfer vibrations that badly so I can't complain that much, certainly not for anything in the sub $150 range as far as cases go. Airflow is good, for a media server build the fact that the hard drives are located in the front directly in the path of airflow is great because I want to keep them above all else cool so they last longer. It is a rather simple design, most PC's I've built for gaming have either top and/or bottom fan mounting options but this is a simple straight-through. The default fans after nearly a year of constant use aren't suffering any whine or annoying noises, if they do fail I'll just replace them with some Noctuas. The front 3 fans at least aren't PWM (back one is), so you can't control them with software or the motherboard with temperature targets, instead they're controlled with a switch on top which has high, low, and off settings. On high they're noticeable in quiet scenes when a movie is playing on my nearby TV but on low they're not really noticeable and wouldn't bother most people trying to sleep in the same room as them as long as you're at least 8 feet away. Lack of PWM on default case fans on a budget case is to be expected, par for the course. If you want that buy aftermarket. Noise level could probably be lowered a bit from these or I could increase the air movement without raising noise level if I replaced them with Noctuas but once again the noise isn't annoying on low with no other sounds around. If I wanted to really run them at full speed all the time I'd definitely replace for the sake of my movie-watching experience them but a lot of people could probably tolerate even that. Cable-management is fine, there's plenty of room for routing things neatly and cleanly and building was not a struggle. One potential annoyance for some people may be the glowing white lights around the USB ports at the top of the case. I could certainly do without it but it's not so annoying that I've sought to try and disable it, suppose one could take nail polish or similar and carefully paint over the lights with it. The hard drive access light at the top blinks like crazy for a media server build like mine so I ended up covering it up with a piece of black electrical tape. Not sure why those types of lights still exist or can't at least be disabled in UEFI/BIOS.

Nice case I have had it for a number of years now. It has a front panel besides the swing open door on it so it catches any dust that the computer fans might be bringing in.
