This is a very excellent speed loader for the Ruger Sp101 .22 LR revolver. You simply push on the plunger, and the rounds are firmly loaded into the cylinder of the firearm. To load the speed loader, you simply snap the rounds into place. It works. If you want a speed loader for your SP101 .22 revolver, this is the only game in town. RJB.

This speed loader utilizes a push style loading mechanism. Upon a closer look, you will find that .22 rounds are held in place by the coil spring that encompasses the lower circumference of the speed loader. I use this speed loader in conjunction with the Speed Beez loading blocks (also highly recommended) and find that this is the best system available to maintain a steady reload speed while at the range. This speed loader is well built and functions flawlessly after hundreds of rounds. If you want to do more shooting and less fumbling to reload your revolver, this Speed Beez speed loader is an essential accessory to your shooting bag.

This thing really works, It has a spring action to it that lets you load eight from the block within a second or two. Drop the round into the cylinder and press You are ready to go. With a 32 round block, you can have 32 in the block, eight in the Speed Loader, and eight in the Cylinder. That' 48 rounds ready to go at the range. You can not beat this speed loader. There are speed loaders and blocks for many model guns. Unfortunately there is not one for a five shot 38. Great device.

I've run roughly 500 rounds through mine, works great! It will hold ammunition even if pocketed. It picks up rounds from the block very easily and is just as easy to deposit into the cylinder. The only issue I've had is when I try to pick up "grab bag" 22 ammo from a block it will miss a round or two, that can be written off due to the ammunition sitting at different heights in the block though. I would definitely recommend and I plan to purchase another.

This is a real step up from other speed loaders. The only reason I am not giving this five stars is the room for improvement. It is a little tall.

I love using this speed loader, especially with the speed block, when I am at the range with my revolver. It makes reloading a snap. I don't have to fumble with loose rounds. I just clip in the rounds from a speed block, then transfer them directly to my revolver in seconds. That means I spend more time shooting and less time loading. A great accessory to have for your double action revolver!

Easy to load but sometimes hard to eject shells. OK.
