Short battery life but works great for remote trap release for TNR
I use this product so that I could do remote trapping for trap / neuter / return of some feral cats in my area. It worked well and allowed me to stay out of sight. However battery life is very short so I ou chased 2 clips and would swap the battery every 60-75 minutes while waiting for the specific injured cat I was targeting. Battery charges quickly in about 20 minutes so I used a battery pack and cable to charge between swaps. I wish you could just buy a second battery but it's a tiny proprietary looking little pack so I had to get two clips to get two batteries unfortunately.

Fantastic device for feral cat TNR!!!
I've never used a drone in my life, but this little gadget is absolutely wonderful for remote triggering of a feral cat trap! I take care of a gang of feral cats, and am trying to get them all spayed/neutered - but it's very hard to avoid re-trapping cats who have already been fixed. This drone clip is fantastically useful - because it can be used to remotely release a trap door, only when the cat that you WANT is in it - avoiding other already-fixed cats. There are a few other reviews here re using it for TNR, and you can also find a detailed "cheap remote trigger" TNR video online. I've found that the lifespan of the tiny battery is about 2-3h on a charge (with a new battery) - so the only downside is that if you don't catch the cat you want in the first 2h, you need to go out to fetch it, recharge it, and replace it. Using this clip as a feral cat trap-release trigger, I was able to catch and fix one of my toughest feral cats (pic attached), who had avoided the trap for weeks...there's no way I would have been able to catch him without a remote trigger. This little device is a great investment for anyone doing feral cat TNR!!

Works better than advertised at an unbelievable affordable price.
The Top Race Drone Clip is one outstanding gadget for an unbelievable affordable price. I had no trouble attaching it to my Holy Stone HS700D Drone and using it to solve a problem I've had for a number of years. I live about mid way between Sacramento California and Lake Tahoe on ten heavily timbered acres. Over the years trees have obscured much of what once was a dynamite view of the High Sierra. Not wanting to take down the trees I've elected to just trim some of the tops. The problem is that what you think are the view obscuring trees as seen from the deck look completely different from ground level. This is where the Drone Clip comes in. I took a red, flashing clowns nose left over from Halloween, taped on two 18 inch hot pink streamers and loaded it on the Drone Clip. I sent my daughter down the hill about a hundred yards to about where I thought the problem trees were, flew the drone over the area, pushed the remote control Drone Clip release button and scored a bullseye. Problem solved no unnecessary trees cut.

extended range to 1600 ft
Heres how i extended the range to 1600 feet. 1) you are going to have to solder. on the inside of the transmitted solder two seperate wires to two pins on one the back side of th circuit board under the momentary switch. youll know the correct two locations by turning on the clip and transmtter and shorting out between the two pins. When it activates, the switch those are the two. 2) once soldered run the two wires out of the drone place drill a hold and tie a knot so no stress on your bad soldering job 3) go to the dollar store and buy a $1 cutting board. Shape it with you favorite saws to go between the phantom 3 landing gear creating a platform 4) duct tape a 3rd wire with a loop to the platform underneath with the loop sticking out, strip the wires at the end so the loop is raw metal 5) tape a fourth wire to the camera gimbal such that when the camera points down the two bare wires touch 6) connect wires 3 and 4 to those coming out of the transmitter velcro the transmitter to the paltform as well when you want to release the bait, point camera down touching the wires, thus pressing the momentary switch, via the soldered ipins your bait release now functions as far as you can fly the drone use lithium batteries in the transmitter so its light i have a couple photos ill try and post

Works But Could Be Much Better
The device worked well in doing what it was meant to do. However, it is a moderate pain to operate. Instead of have a USB charging port built into the device, one must get a tiny Philips screwdriver to access the battery and charge it outside of the device then replace. Even the standard batteries of the remote require a tiny screwdrive to access. The device itself did not fit underneath my Holy Stone HS720G so I had to device a string to attach to the velcro harness and hang the release device below the drone.

USB charger not working.
The USB charger don't work. The dealer can not send a new one so the item is not worth the money.
