Easy shutter repair!
This repair kit was perfect and saved us so much money buying new shutters. Our shutters have been broken for over 10 years and my 13-year-old son repaired them with this kit! A+++

A good kit to have
We have 10 year old plantation shutters on every window. Some of the staples came out and it was impossible to find replacements locally.I tried using staples meant for a staple gun and although I finally got them to work but it was a nightmare trying to fit them correctly. The staples in this kit fit perfectly and the shutter pins work well. I do admit it was kind of difficult replace the staples due to fitting my hands in the available space between the shutters.Update: I had to replace a pin on my bathroom shutter. It fits well, easy to install, would really recommend.

Plantation Shutter repair kit provides the materials you need to fix your shutters.
The staples and the plungers (for the shutter axis) work fine. They arrived promptly and were well packed. I just wish they were easier to install. I viewed several you-tube videos and they really didn't help. repairing the plungers involved using a drill-motor to get the old severed units out of the hole. Installing a replacement staple is a frustrating experience. I looked for an installation tool but found none. The materials in the kit were just fin. I took away one star because of my frustration. If the supplier could include a sheet of written instructions that would be excellent.

Old is new again!
Very simple fix to an ugly problem. I had carpet installed and the installer broke 7 shutter blades in 2 rooms. My shutters are almost 40 years old so I was not surprised. The only problem I had was removing the old pins. They were glued in and old and I found using a drill to gently drill them out was the easiest and cleanest way to remove the old plastic without damaging the wood. They look great now and will probably last another 40 😀

Fixed Broken Plantation Shutters
Bought a home and plantation shutters were a mess. Bought new shutter planks elsewhere, cut to length, painted and installed shutter pins. Good as new. The staples are a pain so I ended up using little eyelet hooks. I would recommend doing the same. Easier than fighting with the staples. No one will tell the difference.
