Better than the last one I got

I mean, it works fine, but it is plastic. Not durable, and the knobs for tightening are also plastic. That is the real flaw. Plastic knobs for tightening it down. But over all, it does what it is supposed to do. I probably would not buy it again, but I am not completely un-satisfied.

This is the best tablet holder on the market. The price is steep but it keeps your tablet upright.

I purchased this for my 5th Generation iPad, which until now I have been placing on stands etc at gigs and wanted to make the full transition to using the iPad exclusively for reading music (as opposed to having paper charts at gigs). The IK Tablet mount is OK and does what it is supposed to BUT (and it is a huge BUT) it is not what you expect for $50...(plus tax). What I don't like: It is made almost entirely of plastic, and the plastic itself feels cheap to me. The ball joint mechanism is ill conceived and does not feel robust or sturdy. Even when tightened, you can nudge the iPad around and it will start drooping. The mechanism that holds the ipad is too shallow for my liking. it holds my iPad with it's case but just barely... What I do like: The rotating mechanism is useful for angling the ipad. I like it and it makes a nice loud "click" sound to let you know it is locked in place. The screw that is used to mount the whole thing to a mic stand is nice and large, for easily securing/loosening...but AGAIN. MADE OF PLASTIC.... Love not having to have a Music Stand in front of me and the amount of clutter it clears up, especially on gigs where I have very little room on stage. SO NICE... Low profile, does not take up too much room in my gig bag. IF this was priced at $25-$30 I would feel that it would be a fairly decent deal but given that we are entrusting $300+ devices to these mounts it would be nice to know that so many of the key components are not made of plastic, and that things won't move or droop once they are fastened. Also would have liked a little more depth in the tablet arms so that the ipad fits well with the case. I am not 100% satisfied given the price and above I have shared but for now this will do until I can find something more robust.

I’m really not thrilled with how this thing works. The ball joint is weak, and it’s difficult for it to hold the iPad where I need it while playing. I play almost every weekend, and reliability is king with things like these. While it hasn’t broken per se, it’s never been fantastic either. Knowing how it works, I wouldn’t buy it again.

Works great! Perfect fit and swivel... I was concerned at first when I saw how it assembled, but after I got it onto the mic stand and positioned, it turned out perfectly... And I like the extra adapter to connect to a camera tripod... My only complaint - and this isn't about IK Multimedia is the shipping - since it was fulfilled by Amazon: the last few orders I have placed, 3 or if 4 of them have arrived delayed/ late...

I love it. It works great for my Galaxy tablet and my Android pixel phone

Support Ipad air 3.. alors ayant déjà eu une expérience très favorable avec l'ancien modèle Iklip xpand, je suis très déçu avec celui-là. La pince est top en plus d'être très esthétique mais le problème viens de la rotule ! Me en serrant tres ça bouge un peu surtout sur celle que l'on peut installer verticalement (jai pris l'option deluxe) a ce tarif la c'est pas top, franchement je ne conseil pas !

Es un poco engañosa la publicidad, ya que da a entender que obtendrás los dos modelos y lo que viene es 1 clip para intercambiar con las dos distintas piezas de sujeción, El material se siente bien, no es excelente, creo que es un precio un poco alto por el producto.

I’ve tried a few iPad mounts and this is by far the sturdiest I’ve owned. It’s easy to assemble and my iPad doesn’t move an inch once it’s in the mount. I even had a drunk person come on stage and knock my mic stand into my mouth (ouch!) and the iPad stayed firmly in place.
