How do you decide between the express & the king ? I'm interested in making hats & scarves. Any input would be appreciated!

The express with 22 pins is good for headbands, scarves, soclipper socks, if you want to make hats for anyone over newborn. To include toddlers, infinity scarves, etc... you will want the king size. I hope that helps.

I no longer have it, because it always dropped a stitch. is there an ideal yarn or something?

People have knitted with all kinds of yarns on this - usually if it always drops stitches, you just need to replace one of the needles, which ADDI is happy to do, since they have a guarantee against defects! I find that chunky yarn works best for me, with a tight ply!

When knitting socks...is it possible to do ribbing for top of socks?

You do ribbing manually on the addi express https://youtu.be/UrpRKe4ALyc This video shows it being done on the prym knitting mill but this works for the addi as well

What does this Addi Express machine come with?

The Addi 22 comes with a defect of Needle 9. They also do not gurantee their machines and it is not a free return if it comes from the UK. Guess how I know....grrrr

arrivata in maniera molto veloce. Se si usa un filato abbastanza grande il lavoro esce perfetto. La cosa che non mi piace è l'inizio e la fine del lavoro ...quando si riprendono le maglie sono troppo lente e non viene granchè però su internet ci sono diversi video su come migliorare proprio questo inconveniente... La macchina è molto robusta e ben fatta. Fa il suo lavoro perfettamente !
