Organic Rose Body Balm, Rose Beauty Balm 2 oz.

The high quality ingredient list is what appealed most to me about this product. It is clear a lot of research and care have gone into the formulation. It’s so healing to my artist hands & cuticles I’ve begun to use it on skin irritations and around my eyes & lips. It’s slightly gritty at first, but once it’s warmed up between your fingers it melts right into your skin. I love this product! The scent is mild and pleasant. What I find disappointing about it though is that it does NOT smell of rose. Perhaps the rose essence they use is overpowered by the nutty aromas of shea butter and beeswax, but I feel the formulation should be adjusted if they are marketing this with “ROSE” on the label. Perhaps they could use a more concentrated or absolute rose essential oil. I was looking for an emollient cream with the essential oil of rose. I would’ve given it five stars in the scent category if it had smelled anything like rose, but like I said — it is undetectable.

Especially in this time of covid-19 where we have to wash ours so much more and sanitize, leaving our hands so dry and cracked this instantly moisturizes. It has beads that dissolve as you rub it in to your skin. It forms a protective barrier. This will now be in my rotation. If you have dry, chapped hands this will work for you with constant use.

First of all, I just got it today, but I was so excited to get it that I used it right away (that's why I'm only giving my first impression, I will write something else in due time). If you're looking for a balm that actually smells like roses as it says it does, this ain't it. To me it has a weird smell that I'm not vibing with right now. I can't say what it dies smell like, I can only say it absolutely does not smell like Roses, not on a good day. Smells are so important to me, I don't take for granted that I still have that sense. I love how good something smells and surround myself with Essential oils on any given day. I ran my finger around it to get a bit out (which jeans no return and no money back for me...lol). The texture was ok...it melts in your hands which means it's easy to apply. Now, that I like. I only wish it smelled better but I'll leave it as is, I thought about just adding some if my EO to it, but nah...I just want to see how the product works before I improve it. There ya go...A mixed feeling indeed...I'll be back with my final thoughts in a few days...

The texture is gritty and the scent is very mild. I can' tell yet how it moisturizes.. This is only my personal opinion.

I had dry chaffing skin on my legs and feet. This product changed all that after just a few days. My legs glowed like they were young again. My feet are calm and smooth.

The shea butter smelled nothing like rose. it smelled horrible. i was so disappointed. also it was 12$ for just a 1-2oz container maybe if it smelled like rose i wouldn’t mind but it doesn’t. it also has bits & pieces inside when you rub it in it doesn’t feel smooth at all.
