My cycles have always been irregular and unpredictable, so I wanted to see if/when I'm ovulating. I have been using the LH strips daily, once or twice a day.I learned that you can miss seeing an LH spike/ovulation sometimes, only testing once a day, so someone suggested testing 2-3 times a day, or every 8-12 hours. I'll admit that having to test daily or twice daily has been a bit tedious to me. Sometimes I don't feel like testing daily, because I'm tired of testing. However, if you want to see how light/dark your LH levels are and track ovulation daily, testing daily is the way to go. It's also a little tiring cleaning the test cup a couple times a day. Just fyi, this package does not come with a test cup. You will have to get that separately.So far I am satisfied with the strips. They seem to get darker as LH levels increase, and lighter as they decrease. Drinking large amount of water a couple hours before testing may dilute the LH level, just a heads up. Interestingly, I have also noticed that LH levels seem to go up and down during the same cycle. So you may notice tests showing lighter, then darker on the next few tests, then lighter on tests a few days later. I have not seen a peak yet - which is when the test line is darker than the control line, which means ovulation is very close and it's optimal fertility time.There is a cute little instruction pamplet in each of the packages (LH and Hcg) that explains the test and how to read results. I appreciate that they included that. Each test is individually wrapped. I have seen two LH tests that had manufacturing errors so far (out of about 30 tests used). One had a little bit of the pink plastic hanging off that wasn't cut completely during manufacturing. The other had a printed black line between where the control and test lines would appear. So far I have not seen these cause issues with test accuracy.I've been using the LH strips for a little over 3 weeks (CD 10 to - 32), and Hcg I used for the first time yesterday to see if it was accurate. I wanted to make sure it didn't have false positives (it didn't). I read many reviews before going with this brand and package size. This is the most best value I've seen - both cost wise, and that I trust most based on reviews and my experience with it so far.
