Exact replacement part so it works perfect. And, a lot cheaper than buying at a box store because they typically sell you one of these ends along with the plug.

I had to redo the heat cable under my manufactured home. The heating cable I bought was much too long. With this I was able to cut that cable to length and pop this on the end. Easy to use and works like a charm. Handy to have around!

should have in the description the size of cable this fits. doesn't fit my cable. worthless and out the $ since I tried to use it.

It is what it is, it's a bag of end caps for heat tape. They are pre filled with whatever it is, I dont know if its silicone or grease, but it has it already in them. You push the end of your heat tape into it, and that's it. Nothing more to it.
