Just what I was looking for!
I was attracted to this play pen over others specifically due to the compact storage capability because let’s face it, as a mom you know there’s enough bulky baby stuff around! I also liked the option for neutral colors, as it is this is going in my living room, and I wanted it to look as nice as possible. I was not interested in having any bright colors like the red blue and yellow ones I’ve seen. I also like that I had the option to buy extension pieces so I could make it bigger. I waited a little bit for the package to arrive. The shipping estimate was accurate but it came in the last day if the shipping window. No biggie. So, right out the box it was assembled, it’s light weight, I set it up by myself and it was very easy to maneuver. You arrange it to the desired shape then tighten the bolts with the provided “bolt” tightener. The inside wall with the toys is very cute. The little one seems to enjoy playing with the built in toys. The whiteboard is not a true whiteboard but instead, a sticker. I didn’t even put it up. We did opt to order the extra pieces as well as we didn’t want the little one to be confined to a small play area. I wanted him to explore. Attaching the extension panels were very easy. The extension option comes with 4 panels, alternating gray and white. In regards to the sturdiness of the pen, I feel that the pen without extensions was very sturdy especially with the rubberized bottoms. Having added 4 pieces, two to a side, I do feel the stability was compromised slightly by the larger size. I would not say it’s compromised to the point where it is unsafe. I am assuming our floors are not perfectly level, because there were some panels where the rubber feet didn’t touch the floor, this obviously is not the manufacturers fault. To resolve, all we had to do was put some rubber furniture stops underneath the panel feet that weren’t flush and it was perfect. It is definitely still strong enough, but the floors are definitely something to consider when purchasing this or ANY pen. The open design with the cloud and slits allow your little one to see you and vice versa, but it also is screaming to our little guy “climb me” so he is using these openings to learn to stand up. I wish the door would have a better device to open the pen, it is a button. If it was a latch style I think it would be a little more user friendly than a small button which, at least on mine requires 2 hands, one to hold the gate door and one to push the button. Overall, so far I am quite pleased with the product. Nothing was broken or damaged. It is a quality product and well made. It is a good size as is and it’s a great size with the extension panels. Update 6/3/2020: We had to do some further modifications to our play area to ensure complete stability. With the extension kit added to the regular pen, the middle section ended up giving too much. When our 8 month only used this area to climb to a standing position he actually fell quite hard even though he was being supervised. The feet were not touching the floor in all spot, we had used rubberized furniture stoppers to help. This did work, but with the added weight of an 8 month old it was still not as strong as I wanted it to be, especially after seeing the spill he took before. So we ended up moving a runner carpet from elsewhere and putting the pen on the play mat that is in the pic and the runner so basically the entire contraption is elevated on the mat and rug and is no longer on the hardwood floor. I wouldn’t change my review stars it’s still a great product. As mentioned this doesn’t seem to be a manufacturer defect in my opinion.

Browsed a LOT of playpens and this was my favorite
I am really happy with this playpen. First, it's attractive and easy to assemble. It's far larger than I expected---I got it to go with the baby playmat by Cushmat that I also bought on Amazon, and it was an ideal fit. I'm sure it would fit a lot of large baby playmats. I did *not* need to get any extension panels for my 9 month old to have *plenty* of room to crawl. It is very sturdy, and it doesn't budge when she pulls up on it or when my older son bumps into it when he is running around. I also asked the question regarding its specification that it is US CPSIA approved. If you contact the seller, they can show you where to find this information. Safety is important to me, so this was an important consideration as well. While this is quite heavy so I doubt I would want to haul this around, it is nice that it could be folded. However, it'd take a little work to do so with loosening all the hinges. I doubt I would ever transport this around. My only dislike would be the white markerboard. As mentioned in other reviews, it is actually a sticker. I found it difficult to get the sticker to attach evenly without any air bubbles underneath it, and I therefore pulled it off and tried to replace it. Then I worried that my child may figure out how to pull it off since it came off fairly easily, and ultimately I decided not to use it. But that's really not a dealbraker. The other toys on it are very nice and secure. UPDATE OVER A YEAR LATER: I like to come back to old reviews and update to let you know how it held up. With my child so active now and running throughout the house, I actually converted this to a ball pit after purchasing plastic toy balls from Amazon. She loves it! It has still held up so well, and it hasn’t lost any of its function. Still very happy with this product.

**PARENTS AND GUARDIANS, THIS IS A MUST HAVE! BEST OF THE BEST WITH FUN & SAFETY IN MIND**
A little pricey but well worth every penny! We allowed it to settle and use for well over a year now before reviewing this product. The reason was because we wanted to allow it time to be used and to see if it lives up to the quality and name. I can honesty say that IT DOES! This is the first foldable playpen my wife and I have ever purchased and I'm glad we did! This product will last for years to come. What's so nice about it is that I must disclose pay close "attention to detail" and how things are made especially when it comes to our children and their safety in all aspects. What I'm getting at is there is a roomy place to play with a lot of stimulation in there and NO small choking hazards and NO little toes or fingers will get pinched between each link, this product was carefully assembled with our children in mind and once put up it's a very nice piece. A+, purchase it, great product!

Great quality, easy to install, relatively safe, large
I held off on writing a review till my LO had used it for while. She’s now 9 months. The quality is great. Very sturdy. But we shall see how sturdy it will be when she becomes a toddler. Having said that my 8 and 6 year old go in to play with the baby. They are not purposely roughing up the gate but it has held up their clumsiness. It was easy to install. And easy to adjust. When put away it is a bit bulky. So it won’t be as easy to lug around. So far it is safe. There’s nothing sharp and pointy. Haven’t had her get stuck on anything. The size of the gate is a bonus and is the reason why I purchased it. Wish I could buy the extra gate to extend it since I have the room. But it seems too pricey. The toys in there a bonus. And the cloud holes make it enjoyable for my LO to peak on us. I did not put up the dry erase board (which is actually a sticker). I figured she’s too young for it and not ready for the messy markers. All in all I feel like I made a great purchase. But I do hope I can continue to use it for a long time considering the price I paid. Or will my LO destroy it and not tolerate it? We shall see.

Absolutely brilliant. Good quality and very easy to install. My son has learnt how to pull himself up using these.
