How do a change this to normally closed on the relay? do not see how to do this

There is a small 3 pin connector on the RX unit, the unit with 4 wire connections. The 3 pin connector on the top portion of the board has a 2 position jumper cap on it. I believe the left 2 pins make it normally open and the right 2 pins make it normally closed, or vice a versa.

Is there an app for this? There are no directions or instructions. How does it work?

There is no app for this, but there is a instruction in the product package. When used for anti-theft, it needs to be matched with the alarm host. This can not be used alone, but it can also be applied to other devices that require switching signals.

How do i hear the alarm if this is outside and i am inside?

There is no alarm, you would have to wire the relay output to activate one if you wished.

Great sensor and relay included.

These work pretty awesome. They have their own spdt relay inside which you need to jump 12v power to. I purchased a piece 12v buzzer to go with it. Super loud chirp! Seems like most commenters have never wired a spdt relay before or even know how they work.

This is a great product

This is a great product for the price of it works well for what I needed added one to that front door and one at the back door with the doorbell with two separate rings.

Output voltage too low

I bought 2 of these, and both are having the same issue. The receivers only generate about 30mvdc to the output terminals when the relay is engaged, not enough to power the attached light/siren. There is 12vdc (2A) available at the power terminals (powers the light/siren with ease), but not enough power to the output terminals. The relays are working, just not getting enough juice thru.
