The lid is exactly like the picture and has the Lodge logo on the top, and 10 and 1/4" 8 on the inside. There is nothing else on the lid. Lodge cast iron is made in Tennessee, USA and I believe this is sturdy enough to warrant that.

Q: I have a 5 quart wagner 1891 dutch oven with glass lid. i want to bake bread so need a cast iron lid. will the lodge lid fit?

I bought one for my 5 quart number 8 wagner 1891 dutch oven and it fits perfectly. It's not as high of a dome as the pyrex glass lid dome that came with the dutch oven , but it has the self basting nubs in it. I think it much improves the dutch ovens performance.

Q: I dont have a lodge pan ..instead a vintage cast iron pan ... its stamped on the bottom #10 12 7/16 inches... what is the exact size of the lid?

The "ridge" that is on the bottom of the lid is from outside to outside 11 5/8 . The ridge is 1/8 in. The diam of the lid is 12 1/8. The "ridge' is approx. 3/16 in from the edge of the lid

Q: Will this fit a Lodge 10 1/2" frying pan?

I do not have a Lodge 10 1/2" frying pan, however I do have a #8 10 1/2 inch cast iron fry pan and the lid fits perfectly. Hope this helps.

The cover fits well on my cast iron frying pan. It is a nice durable cast iron. The cover is a bit heavy but that is cast iron. It’s a good value for the money.

Also fits blacklock pans. Needs further seasoning if going to cook with (non-acidic!) liquids in your pan as the condensation/steam will effect the underside of the lid. Recommend further 3 times oven season before use (all over) and thoroughly dry and lightly oil after each use.

Serve averlo? Si!!

Serve veramente un coperchio che costa come la pentola?? Per me la risposta è si la pentola con il suo coperchio si comporta quasi come una dutch oven se poi cucinate in un BBQ diventa tutto perfetto per resa e sapore.Usando il fornello si migliorano non di poco i tempi andando in temperatura il coperchio fa si che i cibi cuocino prima anche sul gas.

Fitted an 8” pot no problem. A well designed pot lid with dimples under the lid to stop moisture dribbling out from under the lid.Well finished with no rough spots.
