This was so easy to use. It wipes away excess frosting in a nice clean fashion. The first couple of swipes are to get the crumb coat on then when your ready to frost apply what you need(highly recommend the discs. They are worth their weight in gold). Then smooth with this scrapper. I hear the tallest one and the mid size to make sure all edges were equal. I ve never had such a smooth bubble less frost. This is worth every penny.

The three sizes of frosting scrapers/smoothers should work for almost any size cake you can make. I made a tall 3-tier cake which was still shorter than the middle sized scraper, so it was the perfect fit. The scrapers are not flimsy; they are thick and had a good heft to them in my hand. I definitely need to practice to get the smooth surface I see professionals have, but that means everyone around me has to eat a lot of cake!

I usually use plastic icing smoothers. But since I purchased the acrylic icing smoothers, that’s all I will be using. They are so accurate and I didn’t have to waste time going back over the cakes. I Love Them❤️

Product did not come with any protective layer, and corner of one of the scraper was chip. There was a lot of residue left on that scraper and it wasn't the smoothest.

I have a small cake business and I needed new bench scrapers. These did not create smooth edges at all. It just kept grabbing the icing and ripping it off. Sadly, I returned these and purchased metal cake scrapers instead.
