Do the lids for these bowls fit tight and therefore make them leak proof?** A: No way are these lids leak proof, (CB-20), or suitable for carrying liquids or dry products of any kind that you don not intend to spill if not kept on a stationary surface.My lids are more like loose fitting covers that allow the three bowls to be stacked, (just like they were initially packaged), or as they are shown in the picture. With the lids in place you cannot even tilt the bowls sideways without the lids falling off when they have wet or dry contents.I just visited the Progressive website and they have introduced a new product with leakproof lids, CB-25. **Q: Are these 100% food-grade Silicone?** A: These bowls have no silicone in them. These bowls are a combination of Polypropylene and Thermoplastic elastomers. **Q: Do they have weird odor or do they make the stored food smell weird? Thanks.** A: I gave them as a gift to my sister. She has not said anything about an odor or food tasting funny. Since storage is at a premium they are very easy to store. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great space-saver in the RV *by E***D on October 31, 2024* Only measurements provided were the capacities (in Cups) of the three bowls. I was trying to match an older Progressive collapsible bowl set, but these were much smaller. For those who might be tight for space, here are the dimensions: The small (RED) bowl: outside diameter 5-3/4”, inside diameter 4-1/4”, extended height 2-1/4”, compressed height 7/8”, capacity 1-1/2 cups. Medium (BLUE) bowl: o.d. 6-3/4”, i.d. 5-3/4”, ext ht 2-3/4”, comp ht 1-1/8”, cap 3C. Large (Green) bowl: o.d. 8-1/8”, i.d. 6-3/4”, ext ht 3”, comp ht 1”, cap 5C. They have a fairly wide upper lip, which is why I listed both inside and outside dimensions. The set seems very compact and would be useful in a small space like the RV’s galley. I prefer a larger bowl for mixing up pancake batter, though. We decided to return these and keep looking for a closer match to our old set of bowls.
