Bought one of these for more tha. twice the price at a recent comic con...then came to good ol' Amazon when my son wanted one, too. I bought two, in two different sizes, for less than the price of the one I bought at the con.I was told at the con that it's not gold, not even brass, I knew immediately that I would have to treat it to retain the color. I wore it during the rest of the con (no color change), then picked up a can of Krylon clear coat spray paint on the way home.I sprayed the ring, two or three coats, with a few minutes of dry time in between. I even sprayed the stones. The color is now nice and shiny, as are the stones, and hopefully pretty protected against rubbing off or turning my finger.I wore my ring to the con the next day and for several hours and have had no problems thus far.Upon receipt of these two rings, I have done the exact same, sprayed them completely, and thus far they are looking great. They are heavy weight, likely steel and made pretty well. The words are stamped/molded in raised lettering on the sides, legible. Shiny "gold" with black "ageing". The stones are not real gemstones but are reflective. With the gloss coating, they sparkle more. Nice design for what it is.The ring I bought at the comic con did not have any erosion on the interior of the ring. These two that I bought had some wherein the "gold" was not completely intact. That is also why I immediately coated them with the Krylon to prevent further color change.For less than $9 per ring...I'm quite satisfied.I wore my ring again today.If anything changes, I will update this review.

After about 10 minutes of wearing mine around the house three of the plastic stones fell out. Turns your finger green, and all around just isn’t that great but you get what you pay for. Also the sizing for this runs small, so go one size larger. If you normally where a 10 for example, order an 11 instead

it's an awesome ring but it discolored when used

This ring was amazing, I had no problems with the colors or the stones, under light it looks magnificent, the only issue is that I got mine 2 sizes small so it stuck on my finger (my fault) throughout that time my finger became discolored. about a week has passed and my finger is still discolored. Keep this in mind before buying

I ordered this ring in a six, it came in a way bigger size. The stones would fall out while I wasn’t even wearing it and it is not as good Quality as I hoped.
