Fantastic pencils!! I have both sets of the skin tone pencils from this brand and I have to say, they are fantastic! They go on so creamy and smoothly! I have many different pencil sets ranging from regular pencils, watercolour, castle oil and gold and prismacolour and this are even better or maybe on par with prismacolour in quality. They sharpen well and do not break. Really pleased with this purchase.

These completed my black widow collection. They are amazing, blend perfectly, the lay down of colour is beautiful and they hold a point really well. Affordable A star coloured pencils.

Nice pencil design and so far they seem to be good pencils for lighter skin tones. Not quite sure how much they will blend with prismacolours yet but i will be testing that soon. Good set for those lacking skin tones in their other sets and will definitely be useful. However the tin design is disturbing, which is a pity as the actual tin shape is quite nice. Also murk an egg shell are incredibly similar but this may in the long term be a good thing. Overall, good pencils for a good price.

I am no artist but love colouring and found my budget colouring pencils were not really giving me the results I wanted. I am not rich so value for money is important and so is quality. I also wanted a big range of colours which, despite the size of my budget sets, I was not getting. The Black Widow range has ticked all those boxes and their customer service is beyond brilliant. I now have the three first sets, Black Widow, Scorpion and Cobra, the two sin sets light and dark, finally the Monarch set. 144 pencils and the colours...omg wow time. the feel is beautiful and believe me I can be fussy as I tend to colour for a long time. They sharpen lovely and I can not wait to add the Dragon set. All in all a brilliant set at a fantastic price.

These pencils are really quite something special. I love all the Black Widow pencils, the Cobra, Scorpion and the two skin tones. They are fabulous to work with, blend, layer and burnish beautifully. I have spent hundreds of pounds on pencils over the years and these are the best budget friendly pencils. I really can’t fault them in any way. The coloured in picture above was completed with the Black Widows. The service from this company (the seller) has been second to none, extremely courteous and polite when I did make contact with them. Communication was fantastic, you couldn’t have asked for more. I will always use black widows and my prismacolours have been made redundant! You will not be disappointed with the performance of these pencils, cores all central and no breakages on sharpening.

This is the first time I've tried these, and.. WOW!!! Can't believe I never heard about this brand before! It's so far the best soft set of pencils I've tried and believe me, I've tried a lot. Have a collection of Arteza, Castle art, Koh-i-Noor pencils. These are the softest ones. Nice and easy blending, and layering, soft core with a touch of wax. Beautiful range of skin tone colours. It was so worth it to buy these, and it's a great value for only 12£ per set of 12pencils, so I just bought both sets, light and dark, as I mostly do portraits. Highly recommend this brand and will definitely buy more from them! 🖤 Thank you black widow 🖤

Qualité vraiment très intéressante. J'ai même commandé d'autres crayons de cette marque après avoir utilisés ceux-ci. Ils glissent bien sur le papier, les couleurs se mélangent bien entre elles et il ne faut vraiment pas beaucoup de pression pour déposer de la couleur, même qu'il est assez facile de faire des marques. L'assortiment de couleurs est très intéressant et donne d'excellents résultats mais je l'accompagne toujours de celui pour peaux foncé, car cet ensemble ne contient aucun marron.

Ottimo prodotto, si è rivelato anche superiore alle aspettative. La gamma di toni scuri per la pelle è molto diversa e originale rispetto a quelle di molti altri brand di matite colorate, perciò sono perfette se si vuole ampliare la propria gamma, e personalmente ne adoro i colori. Anche i nomi di ciascun colore sono belli. Le matite sono leggere, ma paiono resistenti, con una meravigliosa mina grossa (pregio perchè più resistente!), le barre nere hanno alla fine una piccola striscia laccata di colore che le distingue, sono quasi vellutate al tatto, molto piacevoli anche alla vista per il design. La stesura è omogenea, cremosa e il pigmento abbastanza intenso, insomma matite morbide, facili da utilizzare, pur senza essere grasse! Quindi ben controllabili, non sbavano. Il tutto ad un prezzo onesto e concorrenziale. Non conoscevo Black Widow prima, ma è stata una piacevole scoperta che sicuramente riprenderò in considerazione d'ora in avanti. Super soddisfatta. Consigliatissime.

Ich liebe Buntstifte/Farbstifte und besitze Sets aus sämtlichen Preisklassen und Minen die mal mehr Wachs- und mal mehr Ölbasiert sind. Für mich ist wichtig, dass der Stift nicht kratzt, farbintensiv ohne starken Druck ist, und die Mine nicht andauernd bricht, wobei letzteres, bedingt durch den Versand, reines Glücksspiel ist. Zum Glück habe ich keine Probleme mit den verschiedenen Formen der Stifte (rund, eckig etc.), die Black Widow haben sieben Seiten, manche Stifte krümeln ein bisschen, die Minen sind weich, geben die Farbpigmente gut ab, lassen sich gut schichten (layern), vermischen und sie kratzen nicht beim Malen. Zudem nutzen sich die Minen nicht so schnell ab. Die Farbintensität hängt (wie bei den meisten Stiften) auch von dem gewählten Papier ab. Die Stifte sind gedipt, ich empfehle das Erstellen einer Farbkarte, da der Farbton der Mine und das gefärbte Ende des Stiftes, nicht die wirkliche Farbe wiedergeben. Ich habe noch nicht eine Firma gefunden wo es keine Abweichungen gab. Die Black Widow gehören neben den Prisma, FC Black Edition, FC Polychromos, Koh-i-noor Polycolor, Derwent Chromaflow, Staedtler Ergosoft, Crayola und Kalour 520 zu meinen Favoriten. Trotzdem möchte ich die anderen nicht erwähnten Stifte nicht missen. Ich bin kein Profi, kaufe meine Stifte selber und habe festgestellt, dass man mit fast jedem Stift ein gutes Ergebnis erzielen kann, es nur Unterschiede bei der benötigten Zeit und dem angewandten Druck gibt. Die Black Widow sind auch für ungeduldige, die ein schnelles Ergebnis erzielen wollen geeignet. Ich habe versucht die Kriterien die objektiv zu vergleichen sind, Form des Stiftes, krümelt die Mine etc. in den Vordergrund zu stellen, da die meisten Punkte subjektiv sind. Der einen Person ist die Mine zu hart, der Anderen ist die identische Mine nicht hart genug. Ich hoffe, ich konnte mit der Beschreibung helfen, meine Rezension bezieht sich nicht nur auf das kleine Set der Black Widow, sondern auf das komplette 180 Stifte Set. Ich würde sie mir immer wieder kaufen und kann sie wirklich empfehlen. Die Farbkarte wurde auf Castle Art Papier erstellt (1. Foto) wird aber auf Canson Imagine 123lb neu erstellt (2. Foto), da ich das Papier am Anfang noch nicht hatte. Da ich 99% auf Canson Imagine erstellt habe und man so schon mal einen guten Vergleich hat. Lieferung ohne Probleme.
