Korg - RP-C2 Rimpitch Acoustic Guitar Tuner

Initially I wasn't impressed as the tuner wasn't staying firmly fixed in place on the guitar and I was disappointed when it kept falling off. Closer examination showed that one of the metal clips wasn't properly through a slit in the 'rubber' protection strip. Once this was put back in place the tuner remained firmly in situ on the guitar. Switching it on and off is easily achieved by inserting one finger into the sound hole and touching the switch. The display is very responsive and fairly easy to read and a couple of yellow leds seem to 'flash' when the tuning is 'spot on' in addition to the green led which stays on. Though this will be staying in place on one guitar I think I'll stick to clip on tuners for my others.

A good tuner that delivers accurate results. It looks much neater and more professional than a headstock tuner. As mentioned by other reviewers, though, it has an irritating habit of falling off, usually inside the guitar. Double-sided tape or a dab of Blu-Tack would probably sort this, but it was the name that hooked me into buying this unit. KORG should care enough about its brand not to rely on customers to work around poor design.

I needed a tuner for live use and this is perfect. I don’t like the look of headstock tuners so a soundhole tuner was of interest. This fits my soundhole perfectly, is discreet and very accurate. It stays on the guitar all the time so it’s always with me. Exactly what I wanted it be, very pleased!

The tuner works very well and is easy to see during use but I found that it often fell off ind into the guitar. had to put a little double sided tape on it to make it stay put

Very simple to fix to the soundhole edge. Took seconds. Seems very accurate which of course is the whole point. I'm ordering again for my other acoustics. It would be easy to chop and change but at this pricepoint it's worth having for each instrument if you're lucky enough (or reckless enough) to have more than one!

I've never been so happily disappointed in my life. I don't know what incase expecting. This thing is really small an compact it perfect. It slots neatly and securely into place. I've attached a picture of the tuner in a Martin XSeries.

Just a bit slow and not positive, but it is still a good product and very useful cause can be left in situe.

If you are looking for an easy to use tuner for a 12 string guitar, this should definitely get a look in. As indicated, it nests nicely and quite un-obstructively inside the guitar sound hole and is really the easiest to use. An LED initially shows the note the string is closer to in whichever octave, this changes as you tighten/ loosen its key. When the correct note is reached, finer adjustment can then be made following the direction of arrow LEDs until the centre green LED is lit. Until now, I have always found using tuners on 12 string guitar unsatisfactory, this tuner has changed that, and this one will sit in my 12 string forevermore.
