Recently lost my old Bausch & Lomb Hastings Triplet after several decades. In searching for a replacement I found the B&L prices to be really high. This item had excellent reviews and was about 1/4 the B&L price, so I took a chance. The lens is a little larger than my old B&L with a smidge more distortion at the very edges, but it's certainly usable. The larger size and octagonal shape will take a bit of adjustment on my part, but nothing to worry about. And I really like the inclusion of a lanyard with a "quick release" instead of my old knotted paracord. Finally, the packaging was really nice. I hope to use this for a very long time.

Nice Jewelry Loupe for the price. Seems very well made. Using it for coin identification and it does its job. Comes with a case and carrying lanyard. If the lens was slightly larger it would be perfect.

This little thing works like a charm. Highly recommend.

I got this as a gift for my high school grandson, who uses this loupe to see the quality of his necklaces up close, as well as to examine the details (edges, color, cut, etc.) of his sports cards, to determine what quality level they’re in before he puts them in a plastic card container. They function perfectly for these interesting tasks.

I bought this specifically for geological science reasons. The glass was clear and had little fringing towards the edge, and worked out just great for looking at close detail. If all you need is a loupe that will help you look at small details, then this is fine. However if you need a durable loupe for fieldwork, I would recommend looking at something else. The screw keeping the body closed came loose and made everything loose. Eventually after retightening the screw for a week, the screw was lost and I had to super glue it to last just a little more longer. Good lense. Poor construction (or rather, durability)

Exactly what I wanted for inspecting my fountain pen nibs. Cute, compact, great little design that flips out easily for use, and comes with a separate handy lanyard in case you want to wear it, cleaning cloth, and sturdy little hardened weave case. I can zip the case up completely even leaving the lanyard on, due to its design.

I use this 10x loupe for reading the tiny print on electronic circuit board components. Works perfectly.
