Well made
Very thin, extremely handy for tight spaces. Looks to be very well made, flex head locks into desired position. I would recommend this ratchet to any diy project

It was that tool I needed in a bind.
It was that tool I needed in a bind. Didn't want to remove that upper coolant bridge to remove the starter on an LS430. A flex head ratcheting wrench was able to do the passenger side, but in the driver's side the outside of the wrench was too thick. This little tool did the job. The fact that you can lock the position of the head is just another perk of this little guy. Some reviews day it is not durable. The ratchet head is small, but the handle is relatively long in comparison. I would in no way expect this thing to handle a lot of torque, but it's far strong enough for its size. Too me this tool has been worth every penny and then some. If you're a tool guy this little thing is a must.

Great Value
It seems to be well made. While it is not my favorite Gearwrench ratchet it is outstanding when you take into account the versatility and low cost of the Tool. It helps with getting into tight places and makes it easy to use. I am happy with this purchase.

Eh....
Definitely not the quality I expect from Gearwrench! I have metric and SAE combination ratchet flex wrench sets, flex flarenut set, palm ratchets, and a bunch of others. (Not to mention my full shop toolboxes of Snap-on and Mac Tools... so it's not like I'm new at this!) Those Gearwrench tools are well made... and they look and feel nice. My flex heads are my go to wrenches most of the time. This... not so much. The thru the head bit adapter comes out too easy... like way to easy. Whatever spring system/ "locking" mechanism is in this, it's so weak I don't expect it to last long at all if it's this weak to begin with! This is a tool designed to reach into hard to get places. Last thing I want to do is either spend time fishing out, or worse... lose a 10-15 dollar Snap-on socket due to a poorly made ratchet handle! The finish is horrible compared to the others. The beam of the ratchet is nowhere as smooth as the pics. As a matter of fact, it's quite "sharp" or thin if you will. It feels very "mickey mouse". Yes, it's 1/4" stuff, but at its regular price point it should be comfortable in the hand and finished at least as nicely as all of the other tools I have from them. After all that's what you want out of your tools. It has a lot of potential... if it was made better! There is very few brands of tools I nestle between my Snap-on and Mac's... very few. These always had a place in my revered tool box drawers. I'm going to keep this as I got it on sale for 20 bucks plus I had a gift card on account. It's not worth the gas to drive to send it back. It'll make a nice ugly paperweight when the fan is on in the shop. After that I doubt it'll be useful as the adapter will probably fall out into the void. This is a big disappointment guys. The next time I get a crappy tool like this from Gearwrench, I promise I'll send it back and buy no more. Please...get with it and do better, huh?

Fantastic tool
As mentioned in other reviews, it's not for heavy duty use. Keeping that in mind, it's an awesome tool when you need to work in a tight space. I bought one for my work box and another one to keep at home.

Slim Head Ratchet fits into Tight Spots easily!
This tool is just what my husband needed. So good he purchased two! The way the head tilts makes it great to reach into a tight spot. The torque is ideal. It is so easy to use and doesn't slip. I love the silver finish--looks great, feels great, works great!

I would give zero
Thus tool broke on me the first time I used it, literally. So o contacted Amazon, who told me to contact the manufacturer. I did. I spoke to a woman who seemed very nice on the phone and seemed to take my dilemma seriously. She tool some information from me and my address then told me I woukd receive a new one in tge mail. This was several years ago now, if I can recall correctly I believe that once I received the new one I was supposed to return the broken tool. So great, everything was set! At the time I was a satisfied customer because it appeared my broken tool was going to be replaced for free. I bet you can guess how the rest of the story goes. I never recieved the new tool, I was never contacted again. So it was not a large enough purchase for me to invest any more time into it. What I have done though, is never bought another Gearwrench product. Not only did the garbage break right away, but then I was mislead and patronized into thinking it would all be taken care of. What a joke. I'm a professional mechanic too, I purchase many tools, I just do not purchase Gearwrench tools anymore.

Great tool but needs to be made stronger
Great tool for those hard to reach spots. Problem is its a flex head and when torqueing hardware it doesn't seem to be able to take much before it breaks

Recomendo o produto!

Great craftsmanship. Very nicely built. Looks as good as a Snap-on or MAC product. I would definitely purchase this ratchet again. Hoping I never need to, if the build quality is as good as their presentation. Detents on the flex head have positive engagement. Thumb wheel on the top is a nice bonus and works well. Very solid, well built tool. GearWrench makes very nice tools for their price point. Well worth the investment.
