I do not agree with any of the negative comments. I would not take my best and sharpest steel knife or ceramic knife and slice on the non-stick surface on a regular basis, but I wouldn't do that with a plain stainless or aluminum pan either. I have used metal tools in the pan and no damage, but I say why push it with pans at this price point. About the only non- damageable non-stick pan surface would be one with lots of industrial diamonds embedded in the pan surface and they would charge an arm and a leg for that I am afraid. It has a great handle and lid and had good shipping time etc. I will get more as time goes on. They are fantastic pans that look good and perform as good as they look. They are also dishwasher safe, at least in my dishwasher, I wouldn't wash them with industrial NaOH (Lye) based dish detergent though. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best you can buy, in my opinion! *by L***T on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on September 13, 2015* Heats evenly and holds at lower temperatures. A dream to clean once you get over the initial off coloring of the metal which disappears with subsequent washing, I've found. I've owned several expensive brands over the years and had been unhappy with the warping, discoloring and uneven cooking. Scan Pan is undoubtedly the best I've tried.
