Joren TV Stand, Ash Veneer

Beautiful furniture, however it arrived with one of the drawers broken/improperly assembled. After reaching out the manufacture directly, I was told to discuss it with Amazon for resolution. Options given by Amazon Customer Service were either discount on faulty product received or replacement, but for that I would have to have the original packaging or a box that would fit it. The furniture is delivered whole (I like that, although it is a huge and heavy box), with lots of padding/styrofoam around it to protect it (also positive), and to remove it from its box one needs to cut through it; therefore it would be hard to put back into original or any other box to replace it. I ended up opting for an acceptable discount, and partially fixed the drawer myself to what I can now live with, not perfect but ok, better than going through the replacement hassle. I’m happy with Amazon’s Customer Service resolution (discount), but it made me think twice now if big furniture is something I should shop online, in case something worst happens.
