I collect holiday nesting dolls. This set is the best that I have found in my endless search. I like Christmas and Halloween. Not much to offer in the way of skeletons, witches, pumpkins, etc. Just buy it. I know it's a bit pricey, but each doll is cuter than the last. The faces! Caution....read instructions before opening. Don't unscrew but pop open like an egg then use clear wax and coat the edges. This will prevent future splintering of paint. I didn't like the Santa holding the star because the color of the star couldn't be seen. Easy fix. Red nail polish and white acrylic paint to paint out the star and paint over buttons. You will love this for yourself and for children of all ages. Choking hazard goes without saying. Not for babies or even toddlers. You owe it to yourself or give it as a gift that someone you love will NEVER forget.

Bought these lil guys for Christmas decor. I find a bit of surprise and delight hidden in the Xmas decor is really fun for kids and adults alike! Made the purchase cause their faces were just so kind and adorable. That however is the reason they lose a star. Their faces look different from the photo. Santas eyes have sort of lashes on mine for example. I was a little disappointed they weren't the faces I fell in love with...HOWEVER these ARE individually hand-painted, so they will all be a little different. Regardless, they are extremely well crafted and so delightful. :-)
