SKW Audiophiles Subwoofer Lock RCA Cable RCA to RCA Multiple Shield with Ultra-high Purity Copper Digital Coaxial Cable for HiFi Systems 4.9ft/1.5m

I’m writing this review to help others decide if skw cables are for them. First I need to give some info about my room and system in order to explain my goal. My room is located in a basement which sounds slightly dampened and laidback. If I put a speaker in that room that is also laid back(Buchardt S400)or smooth sounding it makes it even darker sounding and I keep craving little more liveliness or snappiness. I upgraded to Buchardt S400 MK2 and It improved my experience greatly. I use Parasound New classic 200 integrated amp and Topping D90SE dac. I stream music using Amazon music hd via usb dongle and usb cable. I first ordered skw usb cable and rca interconnects (cheaper version). After couple of days listening, I noticed that I was getting little more details ,snap and punch. Detail retrieval at low volume improved and my urge to crank up the volume subdued. Before SKW, I was using some DIY interconnects using pro grade cables and some generic usb cable. One review mentioned that skw cables sounded harsh. And I could see that happening if one all ready has edgy sounding system and adds those cables to the mix. But if you are like me and find your system to be laidback/smooth and want to reduce that effect and bring little zing to instruments, than definitely give skw a try. I highly recommend giving skw usb cable and interconnects try first. Than other cables if it’s your cup of tea. I liked skw usb cable so much that I also ordered 2 power cables and speaker cables. I’m not sure how much more improvement I am getting in my system by adding skw power cables and speaker cables. I would have to do much more extensive listening and comparison. However, I am satisfied with my purchase and will keep skw in my system.

I own all variations of this brand name. When these were delivered, they came with protectors for the RCA plugs. Few companies go to that length to deliver a quality product. I own amazing power cords from SKW, speaker cables and interconnects. They are all brilliant. Well done you, SKW. The speaker cables arrived in amazing treasure chest type boxes that showcased their amazing commitment to excellence. I would say for any price, it would be hard to find a better performing product.

I've been pretty skeptical about high end interconnects, speaker cables, and power supply cables, BUT... I'm finding that HIGH QUALITY cordage always beat cheap, run-of-the-mill cables. Yes, it's audible. Yes, it's worth the price to use high quality products to connect your high quality components. Back when I was building my recording studio, I was told by my mentor to "buy the best gear that you can AFFORD". That rings true for all things.

These cables are quality through and through. They sound great on my subwoofer with a clean tight sound. The packaging was very nice and the look of these cable are awesome! Will buy more of their cables soon.

Good sound at a reasonable price. Definitely an improvement over my 30 year old rca cables :-) They go on and stay on. No issues removing them as some have said. Add a drop of machine oil and gently twist to apply and remove. Cables are fairly firm and are very well made. Top quality without the ridiculous elite prices. Company is totally customer oriented and will find a solution regardless of any issues. Really exemplary customer service. Recommended products and company.
