I am not a pro but try to get in a weekend ride most weeks. Have had no issues with this shoe. Comfortable and appears durable.

This is my first experience with cycling shoes & clipless pedals (paired to speedplay pedals) - so bear that in mind for my review. I love the look of the shoe, it is very sleek, and the Velcro straps stay down and don't flare up at the ends. The shoe is quite stiff and I feel very well connected to the bike. If I find them too tight or loose I can reach down and adjust the straps as I'm riding which is nice. My only complaint, and the reason it's not 5-stars, is the width of the shoe. I don't usually need to buy wide shoes, but these seem quite tight and after the hour mark or so, I get some pain in the ball of my foot from being squeezed in the shoe. Thin socks paired with keeping the lower velcro strap looser has helped, but they still cause some discomfort.

I have narrow, shallow feet with long toes. I have a terrible time finding shoes. These fit with an insert. I also have a bone that sticks out at the top of my instep. With the Velcro I can tighten the shoes so that I don’t have a pressure point on that bone. You can adjust the fittings on the bottom so that the ball of your foot is at the right place on the pedal.

Compared to my Specialized, (which is no longer available), the insole has minimal if any padding causing hot spots on my metatarsal, am going to try and find insoles to help Updated review - after many miles trying to break these in and trying different insoles gave up and purchased Bontragers. Happy to finally be able to ride again with pain free feet. Would return these but the window has closed.

They are beautiful they send me the wrong size twice but honestly worth the wait

My usual shoe size is 44EU, foot length 27.5cm. I ordered 44eu and it was perfect lengthwise. Slightly snug in width but since it's for cycling I don't mind the closer fit. Great quality at great price

Bought a pair of R5 Boa last year and I returned them because of the extremely narrow fit. I love Fizik but that particular model was not comfortable. In comes the R5 Tempo..... In one word. What an amazing comfortable sleek shoe!!!!! I'm sold on these and I love the Velcro. I love Boa as well but these look and feel sooooo smooth. Bonus. The price was great for the shoe.

Great cycling shoes that look good and fit well. Would highly recommend!
