This is the absolute best coffee syrup I have ever tasted. It honestly trumps Brown Sugar from starbies. You don't need very many pumps, as it's very sweet. But it smells so good and tastes like heaven. Most syrups I've tried in the past to get my fix usually comes with cinnamon for some reason. It's more of a spiced flavor. If Brown Sugar is a syrup you enjoyed at your local coffee shop - give this a go. I promise it's 10X better.

Although I like the taste, to me it tastes more like buttery toffee. The toffee flavor is dominate which isn't a bad thing but not what I was expecting. I was hoping for that Brown butter taste that is so intoxicating. I will use this when toffee flavor is in order. Price could be lower as well.

Flavor is good. I was happy to see that there was such a thing as a brown butter flavor for lattes. The initial smell is very alcoholic (like whisky) which is a bit offputting, but the actual syrup tastes great in a latte especially with white mocha sauce. It mostly works better with other flavors. I tried it as a flavoring for cold foam on its own and it tastes a little "stale" or "oily." Otherwise, it's sweet, nutty, and complex. Would definitely purchase again.

Look, I love Monin syrups, they make some excellent and decadent flavors. This one is just not it. I wish I read the reviews before purchasing because everyone else is exactly right, this tastes chemically bad. Something is wrong with their formulation since this seems to be the common experience. It literally smells and tastes way past expired. Wish I could get a refund after opening this.

I was really was looking forward to using this because I tried a brown butter latte at our local cafe. i guess I am not using the right amount because I am not getting the brown butter flavor. I definitely can smell it but I only get the sweetness of the syrup.

I bought this to put in my coffee. I got the idea from Starbucks actually. Although it tasted alright. I could detect a slight chemical-y taste and it wasn't ideal. The buttery flavour did come through somewhat, but it wasn't enough to make up for the slight aftertaste. In short, I probably wouldn't buy it again.
