Would give the pliers a 5 at a lower price point but would only give the knot tool a 1. I had to give this a 3 as a package if I could have bought the pliers for $8-9 I would give a 5 but the knot tool is total junk. As for the pliers, they are decent and I can see them lasting a good length of time. I like that they serve multiple functions (hook removal, crimping, and split ring opener) so I can carry less weight. The sheath is of cheap quality and so is the lanyard this was not a problem for me I won't be using either. The knot tool on the other hand, is total garbage. The end for knot tying is so short it makes it hard to use, the line clippers are so stiff you can hardly cut anything without using a lot for force, and the hook sharpener is way too coarse to sharpen small hooks and to small to use on bigger ones.

This tool is just what I needed. It does many things that come in handy for any fisherman. As far as quality, I think these pliers will last quite some time. Also, the nippers, knot tool, and sharpener are a great bonus.

Great set of fishing pliers. Always good to have another set of nippers. The sheath is my only complaint. It doesn't seem like it will hold up long term like the tool will. The pliers fit very loosely in the sheath and the nipper clip fits awkwardly on the sheath when the pliers are holstered. I put both on my fishing vest. All in all the tool works great. I even fixed some electronic equipment with them.

Pliers feel well built. Took them fishing, it was nice to always know where they were.I was disappointed with the sheath. It was difficult to get the pliers inserted back into the sheath. The sheath was very light weight and crumpled easy, which made it more difficult to get the pliers back in.

It is a little small for a full grown man, is more likely for a teen ager, but good quelity craftsmanship

Decent quality but the handles could be improved they are very smooth and slippery.
