Works Great as a Pack Grill
Bought this pack grill for exactly what the name implied, to put in a pack to take on a short section hike and camp. This grilling grate isn't inconveniently large and worked perfect. The two end leg pieces fold out and are held in place by basically over extending beyond 90 degree relative to the grilling area. As a result of this design, the grill grate felt rigid and secure. I wasnt worried that the grate was going to wobble and fall over. The plastic bag that the pack grill comes in is also worth keeping. Don't just rip the package open if you decide to purchase. If you cut one end open you can use the bag as a simple storage cover for the grill grate and avoid getting any dirt/grease on your gear. I took this out on an overnight hike and camp and stashed it in an exterior mesh pouch on my pack. We cooked four steaks on it and boiled water for breakfast the next day. Sits at a nice level (about 6-7 inches) above the ground when setup. This made for a very nice cooking platform over coals or small logs still on fire. For the price of this product, you can't go wrong even if you only use the thing once or twice. Definitely recommend!

It’s a great product
So far after using this three times on a trip I’ve made dinner and breakfast and also boiled water for coffee on this rack for a total of maybe 2 1/2 hours on a fire and honestly it works great I put a toaks 750ml pot on it for water and a 6” pan for cooking a small steak on it it was sturdy and I did keep the flames low so so grill wasn’t in them for the price it was worth it and it saves me from putting my pots and cups on the coals and getting them chard it is alittle heavy but worth the weight to carry next I’m doing trout in tin foil with butter and bacon inside. It should be no problem with this grill it’s worth the money

OK - must anchor for stability.
This cooking platform is decent for cooking over fires, but requires anchoring for stability. It's size profile and packability are decent as it folds up pretty flat and weighs very little. You must be very careful with your hot dog orientation or you will lose dogs to the fire, for sure. It's easy to clean too which is a plus. As long as you are VERY CAREFUL while cooking this platform will do the job.

Great little grill!
This was the perfect solution to my problem. I have a small cast iron griddle I used on paddle trips over an adjustable flame dual burner camp stove. That stove's fuel bottles were discontinued (Coleman Powermax), so I needed a way to use the griddle over an MSR. The grill grate is just the right height to keep the griddle from getting raging hot and the size matches its dimensions! Plus, it folds down to almost nothing and slides right in my kitchen dry bag. I can hardly wait to test it in the field next week!

Perfect sized campfire grill but durability issues
Decent portable grill for open fire cooking but durability is less than expected. After 3 cooking sessions over a small functional fire, the metal has undergone considerable bending and warping. The joints are still secure so hopefully this is only a cosmetic defect, but I am worried about the overall build quality and how many uses I will get out of it. On the plus side, it sits at great height (6") for cooking over coals or smaller fires and the grill surface is a nice size (12"x6"). I fit 2 ribeyes on it at once and it worked well for holding a 4qt pot.

gets the job done
There are better units out there. There are stronger units. There are units that are easier to clean. But I recently went camping someplace where I didn't know if they included grills so i brought this as insurance. I'm glad I did, because it was this or nothing. I heated water on it, I cooked a couple stakes directly on it, heated beans and corn. Yes its blackened but it held up. Its not the steadiest or most robust, but for lightweight and price you'd be hard pressed to find a better options.

Sturdy, functional, wish it had other heights
This was cheap and was the perfect size to fit in our chimenea. We set cast iron pans and skillets in the chimenea to cook things like pizza and peach cobbler. I only wish this had a different setting for height. The low one is basically right on top of the fire, and the taller setting is too tall for our chimenea. I wish there was another choice in-between the two or the tall one wasn't quite as tall. I also wish there was an option to detach the legs completely. I want to just sit a couple of bricks in the chimenea and then rest this on top of them, but the legs get in the way so that doesn't work so well. In conclusion, I've used about 6 times or so, it seems very well built, like it will last forever, I just wish it had one or both of my above feature requests.

Es buen producto, buena relación precio-calidad, sólo que es algo chico (pero si son las medidas señaladas en la descripción).

This grill folds flat and when I used it on an open fire it worked amazing. This is a very well made grill and the legs are sturdy and stable. This grill is sold and great to cook on. I little bit heavy but perfect for grilling all your meals. Great for canoe camping and car camping and any other outdoor adventures you might be on. Thanks

The size is actually really decent for the price, it's enough to fit both canteen cups on it, and I look forward to taking it hiking with me
