This is a VERY nice leather necklace with an exceptional clasp. The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating is because you can NOT put a pendant on this cord. The clasp is way too big. I can not stress this enough. I have some very large pewter pendants with big bails and couldn't get this cord to work.

The locking mechanism is surprisingly reliable and just what I needed. The lock/latch is easy to use with one hand, it doesn't degrade easily as far as I can tell (7 months now), and locks very well. I have been impressed. One important note: the leather band does, of course, break down with time, especially if you shower with it and generally wear it all the time, but even then it remains comfortable on the skin. Good product.

been wearing every day for about a month or so. very good quality. Showered with it a few times because I forgot I had it on. Simple reason I like it. It looks great, it's seems sturdy and the clasp is clean looking and no fuss no muss. it just works, and I like the low profile look of it. If and when I breaks I will be back to add that info. decent price, got the 20 inch, probably should have gone a tad longer, I think 22 was an option, would go for that next time. I bought this because I particularly liked the latch which is smooth and easy to operate; the cord itself is also very nice. However, the latch is too large to fit through any of my pendants. It's a great necklace if you just want to wear it alone with no pendant. If the latch could be made smaller but keep the same design and functionality, I'd love it. However, given this limitation, I am returning it.

I wear decently heavy piece on this leather and it holds up very well. I’m very touch on this with swimming, sweating, and hard work around my property. This is the 2 nd one I bought because I like it so much. The clasp is great and sturdy. I got the leather caught while using a chainsaw on a tree. It didn’t break. It ripped 1/3 of the way through but didn’t break. I have been wearing the ripped one for 2 weeks but just felt saver buying a new one. The charm is very special to me

Purchase three leather cord necklaces, various sizes, they are hard-wearing. Worn the first one I purchased for a few years almost daily. The clasp is excellent and necklace is still like the day I brought it.

Really rigid so doesn't feel great when you first start to wear it. After wearing it for a couple of days, it's now beginning to feel a little more comfortable. I think if I'd seen it before I purchased it, I wouldn't have bought it. The clasp is really nice.

It is made of hard plastic. It is not soft and does not sit nicely around neck. Extremely disappointed!

Broken after only 5 weeks, not worn every day. Very poor quality.
