These Beat My Hiking Shoes!I’ve worn these occasionally for two years, but after a trip to Hong Kong, I had to leave a review. I brought these Skechers as a backup—but after Day 1 of hiking shoes killing my feet after 16 hours of flying, trekking through airports, climbing 1,000 stairs, and walking up steep inclines and uneven pavements, my feet said no more to the hiking boots. I was planning to buy another pair in Hong Kong.So, out of desperation I switched to the sketchers and never looked back. I literally left my hiking shoes in Hong Kong..haha!!The rest of my week, I put lots of mileage on these shoes,through the rain, up/down stairs, steep inclines, and uneven pavements without one issue! Grip-excellent, support-excellent, comfort-excellent. My feet stayed dry even without socks, and never got blisters. They’re super lightweight, supportive (even with my bunions and need for arch support), and the shoes dry quickly. I wore these home too! I'm just shocked! I underestimated these shoes. I needed to share how tough these shoes are but gentle on your feet.They are true to size, but go up half a size if youre planning to wear socks. I have a medium (B) width foot as well. These are not flashy, but absolutely perfect for travel and painless walking. Highly recommend!

These sneakers are comfortable, well-made, and easy to slip on and off. I really appreciate the lightweight design, and the thick sole offers great grip and stability. They fit true to size and are perfect for my morning walks—extremely comfortable from the first wear.

With hardly any quality control over merchandise manufactured and sold nowadays (no matter the brand), I am highly skeptical of buying clothing, and especially shoes, online. But the "economy of things" is forcing most retailers to do business online so we customers must follow suit. I took a chance on purchasing these Skechers Women's Go Walk Joy Sneaker slip-ons, because my trusty Aerosole slip-on, comfy shoes of 7 years have finally worn out, and am 100% satisfied! Not only do they look cute and come in a variety of great colors, they are SO comfortable with a soft inner lining and are slip resistant. They truly are great walking shoes and provide great foot support, which are priority for my shoe selection/purchase, along with comfort. The shoe is true-to-size. Since most shoes are made small and narrow nowadays, I bought a 7 wide and it fits perfectly with casual socks or athletic socks.Suffice it to say, my satisfaction is so high that I will be buying another pair of these Skecher shoes and recommending to friends who find it hard to get a comfortable pair of walking shoes with good foot support!

Size runs bigger, but if you want to wear socks with them this gives you more room. On most shoes U wear a 7.5 wide because I have a hammer toe. The shoes I receives say 7.5, but are the same length and width as ny size 8 boots. Also, no arch support. Otherwise, comfortable enough that I just ordered another pair but not my usual wide width. I will buy arch support inserts for them. Not really worth the selling price even with a discount, so I will not be buying anymore after this this time. They should only cost around 25.00. I ordered a second pair, but made it a standard 7.5 this time. They arrived today and when I lined them up with the previous 7.5 wide I found my thoughts were correct in that the 7.5 wide is actually longer than the standard 7.5 - it is the same length as my size 8 boots.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I love my old Propet sneakers, but the straps had gotten worn on them, and I wanted to find less-expensive replacements which would still fit. I have never previously owned a pair of Sketchers shoes, but I was happy to find that this brand in my size (10XW) had a similarly-comfortable fit to that of my old shoes. The loafer style stays on without any laces or Velcro straps, and there are no seams rubbing against my bunions. I have worn these all week, to church, work, and shopping errands, and have found them to be both comfortable and well-cushioned, so that my flat feet are supported throughout the day. It's too soon to know how durable these sneakers will be, but the build quality seems good, so I'm hopeful that these shoes will last as long as my old ones. Highly recommended!

Comfortable walking shoes. Easy on & off. Nice and roomy for a foot that usually takes a medium width, but occasionally needs a wide in a very structured shoe.

These are great walking shoes. They are comfortable and are not thin, and they definitely support my feet, which are sort of flat, more than other sneakers. I got the beige color and they look pretty stylish and go well with any casual outfit. I also like that i can just slide my feet right in and dont have to pull the back of the shoe to get my foot in.

I don’t know what’s happened to the sizing of these shoes!! I have ALWAYS been a size 8 and I needed to replace my old pair of size 8 sketchers Go Walk Joy sneakers, so I ordered the same size 8 and style of Sketchers Joy Go sneakers just like what my old worn out ones were. When I received my order, I was stunned at how large the new size 8 Sketchers were.I I returned the size 8’s for a size 7 1/2 wide and those were still too long. I returned them for just a regular size 7 and FINALLY, I got. a pair that fit (I have never worn a size seven shoe, sneaker etc.). If it wasn’t for the fact that I love the comfort, style and durability of these shoes,, I would have just returned the first pair instead of continuing until I found a pair that fit. In spite of the sizing problem, I’m still giving them a four-star rating.
