AWESOME! This book has been a huge help in my nursing courses. If you struggle with fluid, electrolyte, or acid-base imbalances (uh, doesn't everyone?) than this book is a must-have. For me it was the electrolytes that never seemed to click. Not anymore! This book breaks it down into list and charts and explanations that are simple enough to grasp but thorough enough to get the job done. Proof: I just got a 4.0 in my Advanced Med-Surg class!

Very helpful. If you're a nursing student studying acid/base and fluid & electrolyte balances, this book is worth it's weight in gold. Simple explanations. Good diagrams. I recommend it to all nursing students.

Perfect quality

Good book, breaks down the electrolytes individually. I don't like how acid base balace is one chapter though. I especially liked the sheer amount of quiz questions in there with rationales.
