Short and Sweet!
I love this Devo, though it is a little pricey. It is very well made and compact, It quite literally is the size of a check book, the leather has a nice feel to it as well. The reading part is perfect for anyone, who has a limited amount of reading time in the morning. The devo's are very well written and put together, also very encouraging and faith stiring. Spurgeon is a great preacher, he is biblical and straight to the point. Love this little thing and would highly recommend!

Meaningful devotional
After only a brief usage(one day) I find this highly satisfying. Daily verse with Spurgeon's usual excellent expositional discourse on the verse. Kept returning to it often, making numerous "withdrawals".

Appears as a check book
Written with a few “old English” expressions -but the spiritual message is current for today

Gifting, small compact book, easy to read, to the point, mailing not expensive at book rate.

A BLESSING BUT NEEDS A LARGER PRINT
I love the fact that this is a slim book that is easily transported and looks like an actual cheque book but the print is too small. It should be sold in large print. I am however, very blessed by the lessons in the book.

Wonderful!
Unbeknownst to my son I purchased this for my son. His was well used (which is a great thing) and was starting to lose pages due to so much wear. He accidentally dropped his in some water and it was ruined. So when he came over for Christmas a few days later he was so happy to receive another one. This little book gives him "fuel" for his day.

Wonderful Content Wonderfully Bound
I got this as a gift for my wife and she loves it. She pointed out how plain and un-flowery Spurgeon is here. We have had enough of the dubious "God will make you happy" promises, and find these sobering notes refreshing.

Great Devotional
Every Christian in today's busy world who desires to drink at the well of God's truth will appreciate this devotional. Charles Haddon Spurgeon wrote volumes during his ministerial career in London. The cover is not really paper and wears well. The size is the same as a checkbook and easily fits in a purse or briefcase.
