These balls are much better than hard plastic balls. They are made in good quality but durability will be a concern. After a few frames, marks are found an irremovable from the white ball. I bought this set with a huge open-box discount. You may want to consider buying the tournament champion set if you can afford for the durability.

Look good and play well. Snooker is hard enough without bad equipment. If you’re getting a new table or new cloth just get these. The cue ball does take chalk marks quite easily. Object balls remain perfect a few months in. If I was a VERY serious player I’d go to the next series up. You definitely see a difference in value.
