Great Book For the History of The Masters - Hole by Hole Data, History and Stories
The 3rd edition of this book brings you up to date on the history of the tournament along with accurate information on hole design/data. But what makes this most interesting is the history and stories each hole brings to the reader. What an important way to increase your enjoyment of this great golf/sporting event.

Perfect gift for a retired golfer.
I bought this for my dad, who's 95 years old. He played golf most of his life, but now is wheelchair bound. At night, he dreams of still playing golf. I'm not a golfer, but he loves this book. That translates to 5 stars as far as I'm concerned.

Very informative
Good read and just ahead of the Masters makes the reading more meaningful.

OK , far from great
A series of snapshots and anecdotes, no theme or narrative. But many of the anecdotes are compelling, so not a complete loss.

Lots of Master's history!
Good book! Explores the history of each hole and the important good or bad shots that happened there. Gets pretty detailed which for me is excellent. All Master's fanatics should read (and own) this book!

I am a golf history geek. I love to play the game (mediocre) but I really love reading about the history of the game and the way it developed and evolved. This is a very interesting book in that regard in that it traces the changes to each and every hole at Augusta and why the changes were made and how the players reacted to the changes. The book was really well written I liked it very much.

A bit disappointing. including some color and holes/course layout would have been great. it was a bit like reading a novel or summary of the newspapers describing the days play. The dust cover photo was exceptional, some similar photos inside would have been great. Rgds

Interesting book which you can read one hole at a time

Was disappointed with this book which I bought for my son. He decided he didn’t want to read it so I return it. Expensive for what it is and could do with some more diagrams and photos.

This book was not what we thought it would be. Quite disappointed.
