Review: Know What You Need - This is exactly what I wanted. People who're displeased seemed to have just bought the wrong thing. This is for piccolo or flute cases (or maybe some clarinet cases), which have the circular indention inside the case. That is what you buy this cork grease for. Or if you just want a small container to carry around instead of a chapstick-sized one. As for quality, it's perfect! Works very well and fits perfectly in my case. [ Review: New updated Packaging. - I ordered this cork grease to save myself a trip to the music store. I couldn't be more disappointed. The packaging is a joke. The diameter of the package is almost exactly the same size as a quarter coin - it is even smaller than a plastic cover for a water bottle or pop bottle. The thickness of the container is slightly greater than 1/4 inch in height. The package is EXTREMELY difficult to get open. Until the packaging gets changed - DON'T buy this product. UPDATE: April 6, 2014 The manufacturer has improved the packaging. The container is no longer a screw top, but is now a flip - top, so it is MUCH easier to open. Container is still small and round, so it fits great in woodwind cases. Product appears to be the same. Nothing fancy about cork grease. I am changing my review from 1 star to 5 stars, because now the product is actually usable! ## Features - Smooth joints, prolongs cork life and Maintains air tightness - Conveniently stored and carried in instrument cases - Application is clean and easy - Essential for taking care of and maintaining the cork on your instrument - Smooths joints, prolongs cork life and maintains air tightness - Conveniently stored and carried in an instrument cases - Application is clean and easy. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0002F534G | | Best Sellers Rank | #94,795 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #483 in Brass Instrument Cleaning & Care Products | | Brand | YAMAHA | | Brand Name | YAMAHA | | Compatible Material | Cork | | Container Type | Tube | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 39 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00086792529639 | | Item Type Name | Trumpet Cleaning And Care Product | | Item Weight | 4.54 g | | Liquid Volume | 0.12 liters | | Manufacturer | Yamaha Band and Orchestra | | Material | Cork | | Model Number | YAC-1007P | | Number of Items | 1 | | Package Information | Tube | | Part Number | YAC-1007P | | Recommended Uses For Product | Industrial | | UPC | 086792529639 | | Viscosity | High Viscosity Grease | | Warranty Description | 1 year against manufacturer defects. | ## Product Details - **Brand:** YAMAHA - **Item Weight:** 4.54 g - **Liquid Volume:** 0.12 liters - **Material:** Cork - **Package Information:** Tube ## Images ![Yamaha YAC-1007P Cork Grease - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71AzRZ8DdWL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Know What You Need *by S***. on June 19, 2013* This is exactly what I wanted.
