Picnic Time Country Picnic Basket with Red/White Gingham Liner

Awesome product Very Fancy, high quality, my girlfriend loves it. Special accessory for picnics. Looks better than in the pictures.

These are truly sturdy, beautiful picnic baskets, with romantic and vintage charm. I love the red checkered liner. I chose this basket, after studying all the baskets on Amazon, mostly because of the flat wooden lid and the single sturdy handle in the center of the basket. I wanted to wood burn, paint and personalize the lids. What I didn't know when I ordered them (I ordered 2) was the lids can detach from the basket. They are held in place by leather-like straps with velcro. This made decorating the wooden lids so simple. I am decorating one of the baskets for a wedding gift for a young couple, the bride is from Italy. I wanted to paint "That's Amore" on one lid, the other lid has Mickey and Minnie Mouse, their names and wedding date. I am so happy with how my baskets turned out. I was even able to decorate the inside lids. One lid says,"Best Day Ever" and the other, "Blessed". I think that this basket, with its lifetime guarantee will bring them a lifetime of happy memories to the couple and always remind them of the day that they were married. The other basket I painted and wood burned similarly for our 50th anniversary in 3 years (we can use it in the mean time). These baskets are so lovely and I totally recommend them. They were each shipped in their own sturdy cardboard box.

***Updated review*** As I stated in my review, I love the basket so much that I planned to buy one for myself. Not only did I order one for my self, I ordered another one to give as a gift. Today is cyber Monday. I decided to purchase a 4th basket and send it as a gift. I paid $39.95 each for the 3 baskets I purchased. Today, the price is $94.28??!!! On cyber Monday?? The price more than doubled! I love the basket, but it is NOT worth $94.28. It is $94.28 on Amazon and on the manufacturer website. I'll be looking for another gift if the price is not reduced to $39.95. The picnic basket is beautiful, very roomy, and just as described. It was packed, nicely, too. No damage and nothing was missing. The basket is a gift for my daughter, but I like it so much that I am going to purchase one for myself.
