This was a good buy. My local priest is teaching me how to recite the hours and he laid out these cards in order of use. I really enjoyed the fold out card that outlines the hours in order of use. Learning the Hours is not an easy task and these cards make a bit more enjoyable.

This is such a blessing to have the Church give to Her children, life giving water. I soak in it 5 to 7 times a day. I have recently done my sacraments, and even before officially being catholic I was doing my hours. My sponsor is an oblate and a wonderful role model, and a dear friend. I Thank god for her every day. Once you figure out how to do your hours it's easy, but until then it can be difficult. I suggest you purchase the little book that tells you on what day what pages you need to read. The point of doing your "hours" is to spend time with the lord throughout the day. So don't read your evening prayers in the morning just to get through them. That defeats the purpose. The book is called St. Joseph's Guide for the Liturgy of the hours. I think it was $1.80.

These guides are so helpful. Let's you know what pages to be on for all the hours every day. I tear out the current page and keep it in my LOTH so it's always handy.

Used it to replace a copy I lost. Left in a pew, perhaps, or maybe at the donut shop. Matched the rest of the set of four that I have. I have since switch to a free ipad app that is easier to use on a daily basis, but harder for saint's days and the memorial of Mary on Saturday.I have a neice that I'll pass the four volume set to when I decide that the app is enough.
