Unique enhancing properties.
I use this black CA glue in my pen making hobby. It very handy with glue ups as well a applying a final finish to some of my pens because it offers unique properties that a clear CA can't.

Life saver
StarBond CA Glue is the real deal for woodworking! It's like the secret sauce that makes all your projects pop. Not only does it bond wood like nobody's business, but it also fills in those annoying little gaps and holes seamlessly. Say goodbye to unsightly imperfections! Plus, it's a total game-changer for epoxy resin projects..no more worrying about air bubbles or uneven surfaces. And the best part? It dries crazy fast, so you can keep the momentum going without waiting around. If you're serious about woodworking, StarBond CA Glue needs to be in your toolkit.

*Update *They fixed the issue A+++
*Update* The company reached out and sent me a bottle of the black that I originally ordered. Even sent information on application and other products they provide A++ in my book. Even let me keep the brown even though I haven't found any inlay use for it just gluing applications. Fixed the review from my original 2 star review. * Original Review Strong glue but wrong color, I recieved brown and not black, not Amazon's fault cause the packaging said black medium on the outside. I'll never order this product again cause of it. Was gonna try for inlay but pointless now, does work good for a strong super glue with lots of tips to apply it. Not sure what application brown will be handy in for a inlay.. Perhaps a super light stain wood.. Probably will go bad before I use it all. Glad I didn't order a larger size.

You have to know how to work with this stuff.
I've been using tinted cyanoacrylate ("super glue" or C-A glue) for years and if you don't know how to use this stuff, and how to buy this stuff, it can be extremely frustrating to work with. For starters, it tends to have a much shorter shelf life than other superglues so you want to work with FRESH glue for critical applications. If not, the glue can have issues with adhesion and fail to set properly, even after many hours. This is especially critical if you're using it as an adhesive as opposed to a filler. Secondly, it tends to have a thinner viscosity than advertised and can really wick into porous materials like wood before a good bond is achieved. Thirdly, as with all superglues, you cannot fill huge voids effectively in a single application. If you're trying to fill cracks or voids in a wood slab, for example, use many small applications and understand how to use accelerator to make sure each pass is hardened. If you flood a bunch of glue into a pit, the stuff at the bottom won't harden for days or even longer with or without accelerator. Which brings me to the fourth point--you have to be careful with your accelerator. I always let colored superglues sit and air dry a few hours BEFORE applying accelerator. If you don't, the rapid curing that is induced can cause a frosty white appearance and trap bubbles and voids below the surface. You'll get a faster cure in a more humid environment. With all that in mind, you can have decent success with this glue, and it's a huge convenience with the right approach and application. It's a lot less fuss than mixing your own colors for small repairs. If you need to move fast and fill a large void, you're better off with 5 minute epoxy and Transtint style dye. If you're filling more than a few voids or cracks, or need to use a lot of black cyanoacrylate, you're better off mixing your own clear Starbond glue with tints made for cyanoacrylate (GluBoost tints work fine in my experience with Starbond). Don't try to use regular tints for finishes--it can can cause dangerous rapid-curing and massive heat. That's my experience, anyway. Plus you can get better shelf life from the clear glues (30 months vs. 20 months according to Starbond). Speaking of which, Starbond makes my favorite CA glues, and it tends to be delivered fresh (which is REALLY important), but I only trust an open bottle of superglue for about 6 months. I keep my glue in a small fridge which helps a lot.

Thus far appears to be quality product at a reasonable price.

This will ruin your project
The medium thick is incredibly thin and as others have said, this glue will absolutely stain your wood. I have taken over a quarter of an inch off of my stock and the piece is still stained black all around my filled wood cracks. Complete garbage product and it has now cost me numerous pieces that will no longer be acceptable to clients.
