The Night Before Christmas, Mini Edition (A Little Seedling Edition)

When I bought this, I did not realize it was a tiny book. I still love the artwork and story, but just note that it is very small!

Hi - I was so disappointed to find that it was the mini edition!!!! I never saw that on any of my correspondence!

This is a beautiful book but very small! I had purchased it to read to my son's kindergarten class for an activity and didn't realize it was truly this mini. The pictures are beautiful and the quality of the book is excellent though.

Gorgeous book. Failed to read how small it was. Suitable for elf on shelf to present to child for Christmas Eve.

I ordered this because I read that it was small and I wanted to turn it into a Christmas tree ornament. To my surprise, it already had an ornament hanger string attached. It was perfect! And I saw several reviews that said it's too small to even read, but that's totally not true. It was completely readable.

Beware the hardcover version of this book is small! Check the dimensions before you buy (I didn't - woops). I was expecting a "normal size" book but instead received something that looked like a stocking-stuffer. Its only about 3 inches tall. The story itself is wonderful and classic - no PC edits here. The illustrations are beautiful (if you have a magnifying glass to see them). Also on the plus side its small enough to throw in my purse for trips to grandma's, but its not the beautiful book I'd hoped to come back to year after year.

I didn't see it was a "mini edition" and when is says mini, it means mini. It's ok. It's just so dang small that the quality sort of goes out the window. I failed to see that part. Good for in a stocking. No kid is going to be interested in this.

Lovely miniature book that can be hung on the Christmas tree. Sadly had to knock off a star because of the huge, sticky, white label adhered to the back which couldn't be left on, as it was unsightly, and didn't come off without leaving nasty residue. Why do people still use these horrible labels?

Slightly disappointed the book is tiny was expecting it to be at least book size 🙁
