Fandex Family Field Guides: Presidents

The version we bought was the most updated version to date. My 9 year old loves learning facts and presidents are his favorite topics. We also got the First Ladies one (also the most updated version). I recommend this entire series, and I wish they will consider bringing ones back that they discontinued, so we can collect them all. Packed with information and presented in a fun way.

I bought this for my grandchildren but already had one, myself, for at least ten years. I could not live without this reference. As an avid "Jeopardy" watcher with a lifelong interest in American History, I use this"Fandex" all the time. It is displayed very well and each president's information is easily accessible. It has the pertinent details as well as the highlights of each man's term in office. A must for students, it makes an easy way to memorize the chronological order of the presidents' terms. I whole heartily recommend this product as well as the other "Fandex" products that Amazon sells.

I purchased this as a semi-joke gift for my friend as a study-tool for our weekly bar trivia. It always seemed like we would get obscure presidential questions (especially related to years in office), so I thought this would be the perfect solution. The information and presidential facts were all interesting, but I was disappointed in the quality of the product. Everything felt very flimsy and we were fearful of breaking the binding or tearing pages. At least it helped us memorize the order of all the presidents!

I can not wait to buy more of these! There is so much information on each little slide. Perfect for my kids.

I love how this is such a groovy conversational piece as well as a great reference tool. During these political times, it's really fun to cross reference the boiled down facts about a President from these cards, with the books, The Secret Lives Secret Lives of the U.S. Presidents , and  Secret Lives of the First Ladies: What Your Teachers Never Told You About the Women of the White House . It gives an in depth look at our first families.This Fandex collection is great! I love the  50 States (Fandex Family Field Guides)  too!

My 6 year old grandson has just started learning about history. He loves being able to flip the cards and learn all about the presidents.

Had an older one of these and just wanted to get the most up to date version. It is very handy to find details about each president. I love history and this is a wonderful reference guide.

It is not often that I take the time to write reviews, but as a 5th grade teacher I have to write a review on this President Fandex. If you are buying this to educate someone on our presidents, DO NOT buy this. I was so excited to buy this to help my students learn more about our past presidents and was happy that they included our current president as well. As a teacher I teach students to come up with their own opinions about our presidents. When I opened this up and read the information about the presidents, current and past, I was horrified to find it inaccurate for a majority of the presidents listed. This Fandex is not only INACCURATE, it lists the wrong Vice President as our current VP and even mentions Hilary Clinton as our president in one of the Fandex information sections, but also written in a manner that makes you believe that whoever wrote this was very politically biased toward specific past and current presidents. I'm not really into politics and even I was amazed at how obvious it was that whoever wrote the information for this is incredibly BIASED and did not write this in a factual stand point but a political one. There is so much inaccurate information in this and I am astounded that this has been published in a manner that makes us think that this would be a good educational item. As a teacher, I beg you, please do not buy this for your children. If I have time later I will post pictures of the inaccurate information in this Fandex.
