Radiantly Pleased!
This company has become my 'GoTo' when making a purchase for any of my DIY skin care products. When given the opportunity to select a product to review, I was thrilled to receive this one since it was on my Want List. I have used products from the Murad Vitamin C line and was extremely pleased with the immediate results, with the exception of the costs. Ouch! After referring to Google, I decided to make a very simple serum. This would enable me to use it alone or mixed in with other products. My serum required two simple ingredients - a very small amount of this powder and distilled water. I chose Orange Blossom, because I always like to tazuj things up a bit. I used a brown stopper bottle from a previous serum purchase for storage, because Vitamin C can be destroyed easily by light exposure. The photos below are after a week of using the product twice a day. As a caveat, this is 57 year old skin at 1:00am - free of any kind of moisturizer or such. I feel that I received the same results I did when using Murad, but at a fraction of the cost and minus any fillers, preservatives etc. I did not experience any negative reactions and my normal makeup application is seamless in the mornings. This serum mixes in with my moisturizer and primer, as well as my night cream in the evening. I even use it in my eye area, but not close to the lid. It feels a bit tight if used solo, but certainly not unbearable. When used in conjunction with another cream, it is totally undetectable or noticeable. This product is pure high quality Vitamin C that is perfect for skin care products. Side note, I also use their regular Vitamin C daily to boost my immune system and that is also a 5 star product. If you are purchasing for skin care, select this as opposed to the aforementioned Vitamin C. The packaging is secure, clearly labeled and customer service is outstanding. I have always received a response within 24 hours of contact. The delivery time is very reasonable when ordering directly through the company, but truthfully, I try to order through Amazon as a Prime member. Yup, another item added to my Repeat Purchase List.

Worked for My Vitamin C Flush
I've been using this as a facial product but wasn't totally sure if it was really real Ester-C or not. However, I just finished doing a "Vitamin C Cleanse" which is where you take high doses of Vitamin C to literally "flush" toxins out of your bowels. The specific dosage required to do that then tells you how much Vitamin C you need each day. It worked! There is no possible way to fool the body's mechanics on something like that so this is clearly the real stuff and I can tell you that it's actually a nice, mild healthy form because of the magnesium and whatever else they put in there. I also found out that I actually need mega-doses of Vitamin C. I wasn't aware of that. Only 5% of Americans are "healthy" (1 out of 20 people), 80% are in a moderately unhealthy state and the rest are quite ill. I came out in the "quite ill" category! Believe me, I feel it every day which has gotten me quite health obsessed. Every other mammal except primates and guinea pigs makes their own Vitamin C, almost all mammals but us actually makes their own and then makes much more under stress. So the likelihood is you need to be mega-dosing Vitamin C for health (although it's really not a mega-dose, since you need so much more than you believe) which actually helps you produce collagen and tissue throughout your body too. If you want to do the Vitamin Flush yourself, I do recommend this brand. It's mild tasting (I put it in OJ and distilled water) and it clearly works. It also fits the recommended type of Vitamin C according to the health info I read. If you want to learn how to do the Vitmamin Cleanse yourself which not only removes toxins from your body but also helps you calculate your own daily needs, I did it myself without any need for a doctor or anything with a protocol I found at "Perque [dot] Org" OR their sister website "Perque [dot] Com." I found it just by searching "Ascorbate Cleanse" on those sites. I heard about it from a very technical Youtube presentation by a guy who was educating health practitioners. If you want to see that yourself it's called "Vitamin C for Heavy Metal Detox" by Dr. Jaffe.

no aroma... dissolves well in warmed oils or fats... reputed to be a safe, tasteless, and powerful antioxidant... good stuff...

Great Product
This is a great product whether you encapsulate the item yourself, or just add it to food. Due to recent lab work, my doctor put me on Ascorbyl Palmitate to increase my vit c levels. Buying this in capsule form is very expensive. I add 1/2 teaspoon of this to smoothies, or just about any food you want. It has no odor or taste what so ever. I have even just put 1/2 a teaspoon right into my mouth and swallowed it down with some water. Once again, no taste at all. I will continue to buy this product. It is a great value for the money spent.

Bulksupplements WORKS!
I am a perennial believer in and purchaser of Bulksupplements items. After discovering them, and the absolute integrity of their products, I would look elsewhere only for items which they did NOT carry. As their names implies, their impetus is toward items that assist in weight training and overall health related to that goal. Still, I have found that there is precious little in the area of vitamins and supplements that they don't carry. They pretty much cover the gamut, and every one of their products that I have used was premium quality. Because I am a customer, I have on occasion been given a sample of a new product to try, meaning a product which I have not purchased from them. This vitamin A palmitate is an instance this has happened, and I am happy to say I have nothing negative to report. I'm sure you'll all agree that it is quite comforting and a relief when you come across a company whose product works and they don't charge an arm and a leg for it! This takes a lot of guesswork out of shopping and relieves tremendous stress. I encourage you to try Bulksupplements and come to your own conclusion. Take care. God bless!

Does NOT dissolve… NOT returnable!
Horrible product! This powder does not dissolve in liquids… not if you shake it… not if you use a whisk… not even if you blend it. Does not even dissolve in hot water. WORST form of ester-C I’ve ever used. NOT returnable “due to food safety reasons!” REALLY? What’s unsafe about me returning it for a refund and THEY throw it in their trash? Or how about they simply note my dissatisfaction and refund me… and I’ll throw it in MY own trash? NO response from customer service… Amazon passes the buck and won’t make this right. That’s $20 and a hour of my time lost forever. Seems they need the money more than I do… and customer satisfaction is not their priority. Not impressed! I’m done with this company.

Ester C vs L-ascorbic acid?
I saw a video on you-tube where a dermatologist ridiculed people that DIY vitamin C serum. He stated that an aqueous solution of L-ascorbic acid was not absorbed by the skin. He said ester C was the correct version of vitamin C since it is capable of penetrating the lipid cell membrane. He also said ester C was too hard for common people to make because you have to be a chemist to make it! Well, I had to laugh. He was correct about the cell membrane being made of lipids & ester C is more compatible. While I'm not a chemist, I do know how to use the search feature on a tablet. I had to email this doctor to let him know we aren't all fools, we are capable of figuring percentages. But I digress. I do like this ester C. It is soluable in oils, such as vitamin E or Argan or jojoba or all 3 if you please. I prefer the jojoba or Argan since both are high in vitamin E and are quickly absorbed by the skin. I dissolved 20 grams of ester C into 100mL of jojoba (I also added 1mL of preservative). I prefer to weigh my chemicals instead of using teaspoons, it's more accurate. I purchased a small jeweler's scale from Amazon for about $25, that's a great bargain. Look for a scale that can go into the thousanth of a gram ie 0.001 Anyway, Bulk Supplements is a good company & I like all of the products I have purchased from them. I will definetly buy the Ascorbyl palmitate (ester C) again. I also will keep using the L-ascorbic acid. I've made a serum that I call Double C --- it has both vitamin C powders. I like it. Thank you Bulk Supplements for the reasonable prices & thank you to Amazon for the 2-day shipping.

Vitamin C (Ester) Powder
I purchased this product in order to make my own Vitamin C serum When mixing the powder with distilled water, hand mixing will not suffice for me, due to it's very Pure 100% quality ingredients, I find it's best to do so with a blender then add the Glycerin and other ingredients for your DIY vitamin c serum. The product works great, I used my serum made from this vitamin c powder after derma rolling my face and I could feel that pure vitamin c working into my skin, Wow! I now use it for my whipped Shea butter lotion as well. my complexion has shown improvements with the discoloration and how soft it feels my skin glows now, so I will continue to purchase this product for years to come. I have Highly Recommended this product and to purchase it from BulkSupplements company! I just love it.
