This book is fairly advanced. You need to have a string understanding of us gap / accounting to get the most benefit from it. Teaches the ways of a financial analyst. Excellent

Got the book in 2-3 days during a holiday in time for the class to start. Saved hundreds of dollars! Renting is the way to go.

It is not an easy book to read or get what the important information out of it.

This book is well-written, but it is for those who just started learning accounting or business. Some people may find this book too easy.

I like the product because it is clear to understand and takes into account all aspects of the subject. I would recommend the book for professional financial analysts to review the concepts.

Textbooks should serve to outline concepts and make grasping ideas easier. This book was pure narrative, with long sections of text and made easy concepts difficult and glossed over mathematical concepts. The textbook assumed a lot of understanding in some areas such as bond valuation and terminology which if you don't have, then it makes applying the concepts discussed an exercise in a lot of googling.There are exercises, cases and problems at the end of each chapter which all looked like one huge problem set. More explanations and samples within the chapters, rather than a slew of questions at the end of the chapter would serve as a better learning tool.The exercises, cases and problems and sometimes the text refer to financial statements that are in the Appendices so it makes it a chore to flip back and forth - especially when on the digital version.The narrative spent a lot of time "reading you" a financial statement without providing a lot of analysis or if it did provide an analytical thought, it got lost in so much text. The author has a lot to share and it would have been great if the book could have utilized color, arrows, graphics etc to highlight and draw attention to portions of the financial statement rather than show a financial statement and then drone on about it with one gem of analysis hidden amongst too many words.

Best textbook for financial analysis. Easy to understand if you have taken accounting classes before.
