Recommend this anyhow and very easy to install
Very reliable and works well. Though I am on my second one after 5 years, but I think the lay up over winter did something to it. Recommend this anyhow and very easy to install.

This is my second 20a charger I have had no issues with my first system charging 3 4d batteries for four years. Purchased the second unit to upgrade the amperage and reduce the charge time when on the generator.

Unit can not be connected to 220v United States system
Charger can not be connected to 220 volt as stated in add. I contact the manufacturer and they told me it would not work in US 220 volt system . It’s made for European 220v system. Please send return authorization .

Had a truecharge 2 40a unit for 5 years. Seems to have died over winter. Ordered a 20A version, installed over existing wiring, but not working (old unit didnt power up. This unit does, but never gets past the "<5%" charging level, but one of 3 batteries is definitely lower voltage. Also noticed in the fuse output (little hatch at right side) there is only 1 fuse in the 20A and looks like the 2nd fuse female spades arent there, but holes in logic board exist. The 40a unit had 2 fuses. Likely the 20A is DOA as just got it 2 days ago and installed with no luck. Returning it.
