Are these pots and pans dishwasher-safe?

I think so! I just noticed it says “handwash “ to keep the long life of pots . Nothing with dishwasher safe on the description but I’ve mostly hand wash these a few times have been in dishwasher. However I’ve had these since maybe 2016 or 2015 and they are strill striving! My mother in law cooked in one of Them and forgot to get the oatmeal out and it burned so the bottom inside scratched since i guess she tried to clean them with a rough scrub . So we are getting another 1 qt again and she’s buying me the full set for Christmas different color. Other then that it seems to be ok. I would handwash sometimes and if your busy or have a toddler like me maybe put in dishwasher sometimes to avoid the time consuming factor .

I’ve had my set for 4 years now. The non-stick is ABSOLUTELY the best I’ve ever had! Still has not worn off, cracked, chipped, etc. The color is still in tacked has not chipped, cracked or worn from scrubbing. In fact a cashier in the “Kitchen” store said they quit selling “Rachel Ray” - she thought they were awful. My husband stepped back, he knew what was coming - I let her have an ear full! Over the years I have had nothing but named brand kitchen cookware- none have lasted or have held up as long or has been as durable and still look new as the “Rachel Ray” set I have. In fact, I have her kitchen set & a 32 pc setting in orange will be handing down to my daughter-in-law, I’m getting all new set in the agave blue. Will never buy nothing but her products as long as their out on market!! Farmgirl

what sizes are the pans?

The large pasta pot is 6 qt The medium size sauce pan is 3qt the small one is 1 qt. There is a 3 qt Skillet 10 in skillet and a 8 1/2 in skillet.

Is it recommended that this set be used on glass/ceramic stove tops?

I have been using the pans on an ceramic electric stovetop. No problems whatsoever! Love this set!

5 years and still going Strong....

Reading all the reviews here - I need to have my say. I bought this set in red - 5 years ago - as my wedding set - shipped to the UK. I must say - it is the only set of pot and pans I still have till date - going extremely strong. (I cook at least 4 heavy duty meals in a week ) and if the husband's in the kitchen - all the pans come out - ( since he's not a 1 pot meal person.. especially for a full scottish breakfast! ) My only mistake was putting the pans / pots in the dishwasher - it faded the colour a bit - so I just wash it in the sink now - and my smallest saucepan - got a bit dented in the cupboard. What I most love about it - 1 large lid fits the large and medium shallow pans - at least covers the medium pan - so again - save space on the lids. If it wasn't for the import fees we have to pay for Rachel Ray's products - I would order more from the brand. As my 1st wedding set - it was absolutely worth it! When one of them gives up the ghost - I'll let you know. :)

Not suitable for Induction hobs

When I purchased these pots in January 25 for my new kitchen getting fitted in March/April 25 . I bought them as it said they are compatable on Induction hobs on the Amazon description . I have tried to use them today & they do not work on my Induction hob ??? . Manufacturers description says they are not suitable for Induction hob . They are beautiful pots too. Amazon have been great & I am getting a full refund .

As advertised. Easy to clean. Exterior bottom of the pots dont burn which is a problem I've had with previous pots I had. Only had them 1 month so I cant vouch for durability yet, but so far so good.

The large stock pot does not have a lid that fit as advertised. Two of the lids were the same size and neither fits.

First off, I’m in love with this set. It works wonderfully and to keep in prime condition, I use only silicone or non-stick utensils and only wash in the sink if necessary. The only thing I noticed right off the bat was that the lemongrass color is NOT yellow! It is a beautiful earthy, olivey green, something that matches the 70’s era perfect! For me, this was the happiest “mistake” I could ask for! I tried to get really good pictures of the color with flash and not, but it just isn’t capturing the actual color well. Overall I’d recommend to everyone!
